Lake Birrabeen | Fraser Island
Lake Birrabeen is a true marvel on Fraser Island, nothing can compete with it's pristine white sand, and the water is pretty clear too.
Lake Birrabeen is called the sister lake of Lake McKenzie, and for a good reason!
It's just a tad darker blue in its color, but the beach is still white and nice. The scenery is unbeatable with its tropical rainforest
Of all the lakes on Fraser Island, Lake Birrabeen is on our top three list of places to spend a day.

Lake Boomanjin is a hidden gem in the Fraser Island Tropical landscape. It's not pristine white sand as Birrabeen, nor as blue water as Lake McKenzie, but its imperfections make it so beautiful.
If you want to escape everybody on Fraser Island, then Lake Boomanjin is the place to go as it's quite a hidden gem, people preferring blue water and pristine white sand over anything.
Lake Boomanjin is rumored to make your skin younger, reason is some black pines with black bark has polluted the water making Lake Boomanjin as black water as it have, but giving the water nutrition for our bodies. Or so the tale goes.
There really isn't any reason not to spend a day at Lake Boomanjin!

Lake Wabby | Fraser Island

Lake Wabby is the hidden gem of Fraser Island. It's not as popular as neither Lake McKenzie or Lake Birrabeen, maybe cause of the one or two-kilometer hike - but don't leave Lake Wabby just cause of that.
This beautiful oasis is hidden beneath a rain forest top and behind sand dunes high as houses. Lake Wabby is a oasis in every sense of the word.
Whether you drive to the lookout point over Lake Wabby and walk down from there, or make the walk from 75-mile beach. This place will NOT disappoint you.
Lake Wabby is a personal favourite of Tor, it's so picturesque. Don't miss out on it!
