Old Towne Orange Day Trip (Things to do in Orange & Irvine Regional Park) OC Travel Guide 4K
Taking a day trip to Old Town Orange. First we visit the Irvine Regional Park where we learned about animals at the Orange County Zoo, rode a paddle boat and a surrey bike with Wheel Fun Rentals, and boarded a train with Irvine Park Railroads. Then we had lunch at The Pie Hole, browsed some antique shops, checked out the historic Watson's Soda Fountain, and viewed paintings at HIlbert Museum of California Art. And we concluded the day roller skating for the first time at Holiday Skate Center. YouTube had turned off our comments. If you want to reach us, please check out our Facebook page:

Homeless man calls Orange County’s largest tent city home.
When I first met Joseph, he was hard at work filling up large plastic jugs with water. People gathered around a public water source just like the images you see of people in Africa gathered around a well. The big difference is this is happening right here in America.
Over 400 homeless people are living along the Santa Ana River in Anaheim, California. Orange County’s largest homeless camp is massive. Young people and old people and families and every type person you can imagine are now living in makeshift tents doing whatever they can to survive.
Mohammed Aly, a lawyer, and homeless advocate told me that the main reason this homeless camp is growing is that in 33 of the 34 cities in Orange County homelessness has been criminalized. Homeless people have nowhere else to go but the Santa Ana River trail near Angel Stadium.
Just like in Third World Countries, people that stay in Joseph's camp take turns making the daily trek to fill up jugs of water for drinking and cleaning! It's almost inconceivable this is taking place in one of the wealthiest counties in the United States.
Joseph was hurt really bad at work. He was on workers comp for many years. Joseph says he cannot qualify for SSI because he can still get around.
Joseph worked as a bank janitor while still living in the homeless camp. Joseph's backpack was stolen along with his work keys, and he lost his job.
Joseph says that not every homeless person does drugs yet the city treats everyone on the river bank as criminals. There literally is nowhere else for people to go!
After this interview, Joseph told me he goes once a week to the local church that gives everyone a bag of powdered milk, a box of instant mashed potatoes, two cans of vegetables and a pair of socks.

About Invisible People:
Since its launch in November 2008, Invisible People has leveraged the power of video and the massive reach of social media to share the compelling, gritty, and unfiltered stories of homeless people from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. The vlog (video blog) gets up close and personal with veterans, mothers, children, layoff victims and others who have been forced onto the streets by a variety of circumstances. Each week, they’re on InvisiblePeople.tv, and high traffic sites such as YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, proving to a global audience that while they may often be ignored, they are far from invisible.
Invisible People goes beyond the rhetoric, statistics, political debates, and limitations of social services to examine poverty in America via a medium that audiences of all ages can understand, and can’t ignore. The vlog puts into context one of our nation’s most troubling and prevalent issues through personal stories captured by the lens of Mark Horvath – its founder – and brings into focus the pain, hardship and hopelessness that millions face each day. One story at a time, videos posted on InvisiblePeople.tv shatter the stereotypes of America’s homeless, force shifts in perception and deliver a call to action that is being answered by national brands, nonprofit organizations and everyday citizens now committed to opening their eyes and their hearts to those too often forgotten.
Invisible People is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the way we think about people experiencing homelessness.

Is Orange County, California as pretty as it looks on TV? Shows like The OC, Laguna Beach, and The Real Housewives of the OC all make the OC look like a wonderful dream land in Southern California. We wanted to know if this is true. Irvine and Buena Park are a short 45 min car ride from our home town of LA. We decided to take a trip and check out all that Irvine and Buena Park had to offer. One of our favorite places to visit is Knott's Berry Farm. During the month of October, Knott's turns into Knotts Scary Farm, a haunted amusement park that will scare you the entire time. During our time in Irvine and Buena Park, we got to experience some amazing things like drinking at a Hello Kitty bar, eating some amazing foods, hiking some awesome trails, and taking Pedego electric bikes for a ride.
The ferris wheel ride was at the Irvine spectrum center mall. One of the biggest malls we've ever been to.

CIty of Orange
For a town whose name was decided by a Poker game, the City of Orange has come a long way since its beginnings in 1869.
Were a full service city we have our own fire department, we have our own police department, we have our own water utility so we pretty much do it all here in the City of Orange.
By focusing on both preserving history and being a major participant in the future, Orange has created a unique place in the County with its small town feel totally immersed in business, as well.
Our downtown plaza district from the late 1800s is still almost exactly the way it was when it was built and that is just a wonderful wonderful community feel.
Families looking for a place to raise their children find charming historic neighborhoods and a homey community with easy access to all freeways.
For a young family like ours, my wife and I safety is a obviously a concern but also an active lifestyle and an enjoyable place to live, youre not too much stuck in the grind that were all stuck in anyway, to get away from that which this feels like an oasis amidst that to be honest with you in a metro area the size of this. We are in the center of Orange County, so we are freeway close to pretty much any place you want to go to the beach, out to the mountains to Riverside the San Bernardino Area, Disneyland, angels stadium, you can get to it within just a few minutes from the City of Orange.
Orange is also home to Chapman University, and though the school is older than the city, it keepin it young with a steady influx of the college set.
I love all the food, all the little shops and just walking down here, its only like a ten minute walk and we can come have yogurt or just sit out here and relax.
And for a break in the shopping, stop in for a float or soda at Watsons, the oldest pharmacy and soda fountain in Orange County.

April 5, 2018 Orange Street Alley Umbrellas in Redlands, CA
Visit one of my favorite cities in Southern California. Definitely check out their new art addition down Orange St. Alley. Entrances to this charming alley can be found on Fifth St. and Orange St. nestled between Citrus Ave. and State St.
The alley is blanketed by these bright, whimsical and colorful umbrellas. Beautiful murals cover the walls too. Enjoy some casual patio dining and support local businesses. Thursday Evenings State Street is closed to traffic for their weekly Farmer's Market. Redlands hosts a fun family-oriented, kid-friendly Market Night. Hope you will explore this great community and enjoy it as much as I have over the last 15 years. Thanks so much for watching!

Little Saigon Food and Culture Treasures
Trained at the apron strings of her mother and grandmother, Haley Nguyen, Chef/Owner of Xanh Bistro, learned to cook at the tender age of 10.
