There are few cities in the world that can compare to Jerusalem in terms of ancient history and religious significance. It’s one of the most fascinating cities in the world, and it’s a city that I’ve wanted to visit my entire life. Finally, along with my friend David ( and Rafram, we explored Jerusalem to discover the food treasures the city has to offer - and let me tell you, you’ll find some incredibly delicious food in Jerusalem!
We started off the Jerusalem food tour by first walking around East Jerusalem and starting with the best plate of hummus I’ve ever had. We then toured around Old Jerusalem, and enjoyed some incredible Palestinian food kebabs cooked by an incredible man who cooked with serious love and passion. Another highlight in Jerusalem was the mutabak, a thin pastry stuffed with cheese and baked.
After eating our way through Old Jerusalem, we then headed into West Jerusalem and went to lunch at an Israeli Jewish restaurant serving a mix of amazing dishes. The food was home-cooked in style, and absolutely sensation. A few more snacks and sightseeing throughout the afternoon, and that brought us all the way to dinner where David had made reservations to eat at one of the hottest restaurants in Jerusalem, Machneyuda Restaurant. It was quite an experience, and an amazing meal and lively atmosphere to wrap up this ultimate Jerusalem food tour.
Here’s all the food and places included in this Palestinian food and Israeli food tour of Jerusalem:

Thank you again to David ( and Rafram for showing me some of the best food in Jerusalem!

Jerusalem; One City Against the World
Jerusalem; One City Against the World
If God was finished with the nation of Israel, there wouldn't be one.
The house of Jacob shall be a fire, And the house of Joseph a flame; But the house of Esau shall be stubble; They shall kindle them and devour them, And no survivor shall remain of the house of Esau,” For the Lord has spoken. - Obadiah 1:18
For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? - 1 Peter 4:17

All the signs of the last days are converging at the same time. Bible Prophecy is happening right before our eyes and like birth pains, the predicted events are happening more frequently and more intently. Never, in the history throughout the world have so many forces, including economic, scientific, techno-logic, ecologic, cultural, geopolitical, moral, spiritual and religion, converged together to bring this world that's already teetering over the edge into the abyss, to a point of no return. Jesus said when you see all these signs happening, know that I am near, even at the door.

LYRIC:
The Exodus Song, This Land is Mine
(Lyrics by Pat Boone. Sung by Andy Williams)
This land is mine
God gave this land to me
This brave and ancient land to me
And when the morning sun
Reveals her hills and plains
Then I see a land
Where children can run free.
So take my hand
And walk this land with me
And walk this lovely land with me
Tho' I am just a man
When you are by my side
With the help of God
I know I can be strong.
Tho' I am just a man
When you are by my side
With the help of God
I know I can be strong.
To make this land our home
If I must fight
I'll fight to make this land our own.
Until I die this land is mine!
Eid Prayer in Jerusalem 360 Video - June 2017
Stream Media Production - 360 video
Jerusalem 25 June 2017
For any Muslim, praying at Al Aqsa mosque in East Jerusalem is a blessing.
This 35-acre compound is the third-holiest site in Islam.
Today, Palestinians are gathering for Eid Al Fiter prayers, to celebrate the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
Prayers here are not only a religious ritual. Palestinians do consider this an act of resistance against the Israeli military occupation.
Backed by Israeli police, tens of Jewish Zionist settlers break into Al-Aqsa compound daily. Figures show that in 2017 the number of break ins is double that of 2009. Palestinians continue to be concerned, as these Zionists support plans for the destruction of Al-Aqsa mosque to build a Jewish Temple in its place.
Israel continues to restrict Palestinians access to pray in Jerusalem, since the Israel forces occupied East Jerusalem in 1967. These restrictions come alongside 50 years of land annexiation, discrimination and repression against Palestinians in general and residents of Jerusalem in particular.
Yet today, Palestinians prove once more that they can smile through tears and struggles on the day of Eid.

My name is Zahi Shaked
In 2000 I became a registered liscenced tourist guide.
My dedication in life is to pass on the ancient history of the Holy Land.
Following upon many years of travel around the world, which was highlighted by a very exciting emotional and soul-searching meeting with the Dalai Lama, I realized that I had a mission. To pass on the the history of the Holy Land, its religions, and in particular, the birth and development of Christianity.
In order to fulfill this calling in the best way possible, I studied in depth, visited, and personally experienced each and every important site of the ancient Christians. I studied for and received my first bachelors degree in the ancient history of the Holy Land, and am presently completing my studies for my second degree.(Masters)
Parralel to my studies, and in order to earn a living, I was employed for many years in advertising. What I learned there was how to attract the publics attention, generate and, increase interest, and assimilate information. All this I use as tools to describe, explain and deepen the interest in the sites that we visit. From my experience, I have learned that in this way, the Holy Land becomes more than just history, and that the large stones that we see scattered about in dissaray, join together one by one until they become - a Byzantine Church. This also happens when I lead a group of Pilgrims in the Steps of Jesus. We climb to the peak of Mount Precipice, glide over the land to the Sea of Galilee, land on the water and see the miracle which enfolds before us. This is a many faceted experience. Not only history which you will remember and cherish, but an experience which I hope will be inplanted in your hearts and minds, and will accompany you all the days of your life.

Visit Israel with Toddlers!
Israel was a special stop in our adventures. We were reunited with some very special people for a bat mitzvah celebration!
Traveling with an infant and toddler is never easy, but Israel was special exception. Jerusalem is one of those special cities that everyone should visit. Walking around the old city will give you chills. The history and importance of Jerusalem surrounds you. The topper for this leg of our trip was to get to celebrate the bat mitzvah of our favorite person with our extended family.
Jerusalem travel tips:
Airbnb is a fantastic way to live like a local, just remember in Jerusalem Shabbat is the real deal. Most things close Friday afternoon until Saturday evening so make sure you get that diaper run in before everything closes. We have previously stayed in hotels when visiting and haven't had to worry about things closing on us (our biggest worry was making sure not to get on the Shabbat elevator).
Do the Masada, Ein Gedi, Dead Sea tour. You might want to take a private tour if you have young kids. If your kids are older (think 8 and up) a group tour will be fine.
Take the Ramparts walk in the old city of Jerusalem. We like going solo, but there are plenty of tours that will give you some great information if you like.
The western wall tour is another that we would highly recommend. I would leave the kids (7 and under) home. The tunnel is plenty big so don't worry about needing to squeeze through small places. Tours are full of great information but might be a little long for the kiddos.
We hope you enjoyed, thanks for watching!

Conflict in Israel and Palestine: Crash Course World History 223
In which John Green teaches you about conflict in Israel and Palestine. This conflict is often cast as a long-term beef going back thousands of years, and rooted in a clash between religions. Well, that's not quite true. What is true is that the conflict is immensely complicated, and just about everyone in the world has an opinion about it. John is going to try to get the facts across in under 13 minutes.

Life Under Israel's Iron Dome: Rockets and Revenge (Dispatch 3)
Subscribe to VICE News here:
Hamas and other militant groups have been raining crude rockets into Israel since Operation Protective Edge launched last week -- more than 1,000 at last count. Thanks to the Israeli missile defense system known as Iron Dome, few have struck targets and there has been one confirmed Israeli casualty.
But the threat of rockets remains terrifying for people across Israel, especially in the country's south, which takes the brunt of the barrage. VICE News brings you there to get a feel for life under constant attack.
