It's a new day which means we are in Saint John (Bay of Fundy) New Brunswick! Come along on board the Norwegian Gem as we dock and get ready for our shore excursion. I booked this tour through Norwegian Cruise Line though most cruise lines offer this tour as well. It is called, Saint John Highlights and here is the tour description from NCL's website:

SAINT JOHN, New Brunswick, Guide for Cruisers l CRUISE VLOG l Ep. 25
Now that our shore excursion to the Reversing Falls is over, it is now time for us to explore the downtown area of Saint John, New Brunswick. (Mainly, we'll walk in circles but that's considered exploring, right?! LOL!). Even though I had no idea where I was going, I really enjoyed my time in Saint John and would gladly come back to visit in the future. I really liked that there were things to do within walking distance of the cruise port (for free) that did not involve any excursion. As always, make sure to watch in HD for the best video quality! The Port City of Saint John, New Brunswick
Presiding over the Bay of Fundy, picturesque Saint John is the largest city in New Brunswick, which began as a settlement in 1631. It grew up around the ship-building industry, and cruise ships continue to make Saint John a port of call. There is a lot to explore here, such as the thriving ecosystem that is part of the Bay of Fundy, in the Irving Nature Park.

Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, is known as the Fundy City due to its location on the north shore of the Bay of Fundy at the mouth of the Saint John River, as well as being the only city on the bay.
Saint John shares much of the same cultural roots found in cities like Boston and New York. The presence of Irish heritage is very apparent along with strong maritime traditions. Saint John is a true maritime city with ties to the fisheries and shipbuilding, and is known for the Marco Polo as its flagship vessel.

MUST SEE STOPS IN SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK!
Saint John is a great city to stop in and check things out. There is plenty to do and see but at the end of the day, these are 5 MUST see destinations in Saint John, New Brunswick that you gotta check out. I did, and I really enjoyed my Saint John visit. And if you're looking for a spot to stay, check out Holiday Inn Express & Suites Saint John!
Although it was a touch on the rainy side, I was pretty pleased with my weekend visit!

A short video from our Anthem of the Seas stop in Saint John, New Brunswick. Saint John is the largest city in New Brunswick. It is known as the Loyalist City.
The Saint John River flows into the Bay of Fundy through a narrow gorge several hundred feet wide at the centre of the city. It contains a unique phenomenon called the Reversing Falls where the diurnal tides of the bay reverse the water flow of the river for several kilometres.
Visit included a tour to the near by St. Martins and the Sea Caves and ended at O'Leary's Irish Pub in Saint John.
