Sanatorium Lake, Mount Macedon
Actually the best moment when visiting Sanatorium Lake is all the way long. Honestly, the lake not impressed me much, but the trees, moss, air, insects, animals sounds, so great. All i found on the way to the lake.
There are 2 ways to get in here. You can start from Lions Head Rd. or (like me) start from Sanatorium Lake Picnic Ground.
The track long only about 500 meter (return). And it will take probably about 45 minutes.
The track is mostly flat, easy, and friendly enough for families with little kids.
They provide toilet, fire pit, and picnic table.

Hugh and I found some snow just out of Melbourne! It can be hard to find in Australia..it's almost surreal seeing gum trees and ferns with snow on them, but very very beautiful.

Still on the same day with the previous video, Sanatorium Lake. We moved the car from Sanatorium Lake Picnic Ground to Cameron Drive.
The track is 180 degrees different with Sanatorium Lake. My first 15 seconds in this track straight up pump my blood.
The uphill track you need to passed until arrive at the spot. It takes about 10-15 minutes, it’s depends how fast you can walk up.
It same like doing cardio, I suggest you to do not stop, keep moving, keep breathing. Because the air is clean. More gasping you are, more clean your lung.

Autumn is a second spring , when every leaf is a flower
This video is all about our visit to the Macedon Ranges in Victoria, Australia. Like minded people and awesome autumn colors makes an amazing combo. For me, it was the first ever taste of this season of colors.
Macedon Ranges are about 70 km away from Melbourne. There are numerous tourist hot-spots in the ranges and in this video we concentrated on Hanging Rocks, Sanatorium Lake and Honor Avenue and is a perfect combo for one day trips.
Hanging Rocks is a special type of Geological formation and is a descent spot for some hiking adventure. Early morning would be the best time for hiking in the autumn. Sanatorium lake is basically a walking trail around the lake through thick Eucalyptus forest. Its at the Honors avenue that you get the real feel of autumn with stunningly colorful trees engulfing the route.
