If you are looking for something to do for a relaxing day and don’t want to worry about the weather, I would recommend a visit to Shinagawa Aquarium. The aquarium is very popular among the Japanese, especially on weekends. Shinagawa area has many rivers that connect to the ocean, so the highlights of this aquarium mainly focus on these two different aquatic environments and the creatures that inhabit them. The aquarium has collected all these creatures together in one place for us to admire.

We watched the Dolphin Show at the Shinagawa Aquarium in Tokyo. It had lots of sea life on display like the electric eel tank, Goble Shark, Jelly fish tank, the giant, sharks, Old wife fish and a tunnel water tank,

CRAZY AQUARIUM IN JAPAN | MAXELL AQUA PARK (SHINAGAWA)
Today on a whim I decided to visit an aquarium, all of the reviews pointed my here, Maxell Aqua Park. The park is a 5 minutes walk away from the Shinagawa train station. I regular adult ticket is 2200 yen and everything can be seen within 2 hours. Their dolphin show has been the best one that I have seen to date!

I walked around Shinagawa station at night.
Shinagawa is a city where Haneda airport is near and there are a lot of users from all over Japan or overseas for the departure and arrival stations of the Tokaido Shinkansen.

In the era when Tokyo was once called Edo, Shinagawa is one of the inn's streets connecting the Edo and Osaka.
Even now it is close to the Shinkansen and the airport so high quality hotels stand side by side.
There are a few houseboat shops that can enjoy the night view of Tokyo harbor while enjoying Japanese cuisine as it is close to the sea.

The Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa is not your typical Aquarium. Seasonal art installations including projection mapping, light, and sound, take you away to a magical land under the sea.
Their current themes include the SAKURA AQUARIUM (spring), the FLOWER AQUARIUM (early summer), the HaNaBi aquarium (summer), the Aqua Pop Halloween (autumn), the STAR AQUARIUM (Christmas) and the SNOW AQUARIUM. With every new theme, the whole atmosphere changes.

TOKYO CHERRY BLOSSOMS and SHINAGAWA AQUARIUM | Travel Diary
I went back to Tokyo during the Cherry Blossom blooming season and it was so incredibly beautiful! We went to the Shinjuku Gyo-en and it was spectacular. Then we went to the Meiji Shrine, one of the most popular shrines in Japan. After we went to the Shinagawa AquaPark and it was sooo coool. I got to see a bunch of animal shows and I watched the dolphin show twice! I went with my friend Chen, and I do like willow trees to be clear, they just look sad :(. Tokyo is such an amazing city! ❤ ???? I hope you enjoy!

Shinagawa Aquarium opened in 1991 and very popular among the Japanese, especially on weekends beacause this aquarium one of the three full featured aquariums in the Tokyo area.
They also have a beautifully japanese garden as you walk towards the entrance and You can see amazing shows in this Aquarium everyday. ( Dolphin show,under water show, sea lion show and seal show )

Quick note: When I went to Shinagawa Aquarium, one dolphin had just given birth the day before. For this reason, the dolphin shows were cancelled, and there was an area with footage of the newborn and best wishes cards from the visitors.
