and are covered in this video. The Shoyoen Sister City Japanese Garden opened in 2002 is a beautiful example of this style of garden complete with a Jurian Tea House. The other garden covered is the adjacent Sensory Garden.

☀️???? WHAT: Big drought country road trip. ???? WHERE: To the hub of the west Dubbo NSW. About 40km north west of Sydney. ❓❓ WHY: It's a great old town with lots to do and see. ???? WHEN: First weekend of Spring. It get's bit hot in the summer. ???????????? FOOD: There's a good selection of cafes and restuarants. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at CSC in Macquarie Street and a great burger at the bistro at Macquarie Inn off Wheelers Lane. ????STAYED: Macquarie Inn. ???? SHOWERS: Keep them really short, Dubbo is on water restictions. ???? HIGHLIGHTS: We really enjoyed Dundullimal Homestead - National Trust of Australia NSW and The Dubbo Regional Botanic Garden. Dubbo City Heritage Walk is really interesting. ???????????? NEXT VISIT: Western Plains Zoo.

For the 2018 Xmas holidays, we visited Orange and Dubbo. On the last day of our trip we visited the newly developed gardens. The garden is small but very beautiful. New kids play area is also being build. Well designed waters features adds to aesthetics of the garden. Recommended for anyone going to Dubbo.
