An outdoor play at King Naresuan's shrine on the site of what used to be his palace Chan Palace in Pitsanuloke on the bank of the Nan River, produced by Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University, to commemorate one of the greatest events in Thailand's history.
What is an elephant duel?
An elephant duel is a battle on elephant back between ancient king warriors. It was praised as a highly honourable fight due to the enormous size of elephants and because of the fact that it was a face-to-face fatal combat between two great warriors. The Thais call a battle on the elephant back Yuttha Hatthi.

Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, known among the locals as “Wat Yai”, was founded in 1357 by King Phaya Lithai (King Maha Thammaracha I of Sukhothai). The temple was built at the same time “Wat Phra Phut Chin Si” and “Wat Phra Si Satsadaram. During the Somdet Phra Ekathotsarot age in Ayutthya kingdom, it was gilded with the Buddha’s image and later developed by King Rama 5 and King Rama 9 respectively. The temple is located at the foot of Naresuan Bridge. On the city side of Nan River. It has an area of 36 rai (1 rai = 1600 m^2). The temple is very famous because it has golden Buddha image name “Phra Phuttha Chinnarat”. In addition many Thai people considered to be the most beautiful Buddha image in Thailand

Over 500-million-baht investment with 4 full years of production make King Naresuan the Great become a legend of Thai films, its the biggest production ever in Thai Film history.In order to go in line with the history of King Naresuan the Great, the film was shot in the same area as mentioned in the history books, which stretched over 600 acres in Kanchanaburi province in the west of Thailand. Also all details of architectural and artistic design structures had been preserved through careful researches and studies on Thai/Siamese and Burmese history pages.
Part I deals with Naresuan's boyhood.
In 1563,The Pegu forces of King Bayinnaung overrun Phitsanulok, ruled by King Thamaracha. Bayinnaung demands that Prince Naresuan, the young son of Thamaracha, be as a hostage to ensure Phitsanulok's loyalty. In Pegu, Naresuan is treated as a son of Bayinnaung and afforded all the comforts and respect due to a prince, that causes jealousy to the real Burmese crown princes. During staying in Pegu, Naresuan becomes a novice Buddhist monk under the tutelage of a wise father-figure monk, Kanchong(Sorapong Chatree) and has temple kids, Bunting and Maneechan, be as his close friends. Kanchong especially teaches Naresuan more about martial arts and methods of war. Meanwhile, Bayinnaung is continuing his campaign to consolidate control of Siam. Naresuan's older sister, Princess Supankulayanee is brought to Pegu to also serve as a consort to the king. With his sister now held hostage, the young Naresuan decides,it is time for him to return to Siam.

In the fifteenth century, Siam’s Phitsanulok state fell under the siege of Burmese kingdom. As the powerful army approaching ever- languishing Siamese kingdom, of which Ayutthaya was the capital city. The mayor of Phitsanulok bowed to the Burmese and agreed to send his son, Naresuan at the age of nine as an adopted child, on other word, a hostage to the Burmese king, Bayinnaung at Pegu, the greatest king in Burmese history.
Naresuan was determined to get apart from his family to be the hostage in exchange of Siamese semi independence. While in the Pegu palace, Naresuan was feuded with Bayinnaung’s grandson about his age, Mingyi Swa. Naresuan was then sent to be educated as a novice monk at a Buddhist monastery outside the palace. He learned a lot in both warfare and political skills. Deep in heart, Naresuan realized that one he would be destined to declare Siamese independence from the Burmese Kingdom.

The first is Wat phrasrirattana mahathat .
The temple is famous for its golden Buddha image named Phra Buddha Chinnarat, considered by many to be the most beautiful Buddha image in Thailand. It is one of the most highly revered images in the country, which makes the temple an important pilgrimage site for Thai Buddhists.

The second place is Chinese temple name Rhong chae sai tee huk tueng. It's not really a temple but many people go to make a merit, eat vegetarian food and take a picture with a good scenery.

The last place is Phra mahachai chae dee srisamohklang.
