Shinjuku, Tokyo
Shinjuku (新宿区 Shinjuku-ku?, New Lodge) is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, Japan. It is a major commercial and administrative centre, housing the busiest train station in the world (Shinjuku Station) and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the administration centre for the government of Tokyo.
As of 2008, the ward has an estimated population of 312,418 and a population density of 17,140 people per km². The total area is 18.23 km².
Geography
Surrounding Shinjuku are six other wards: Chiyoda to the east; Bunkyo and Toshima to the north; Nakano to the west, and Shibuya and Minato to the south.
Neighborhoods
Although the area immediately surrounding Shinjuku Station is home to hotels, department stores, specialist electronic and camera shops, cinemas, restaurants, and bars, the rest of the city is a mix of residential with commercial areas concentrated around railway stations[citation needed].
Notable areas of Shinjuku include:
Ichigaya: A commercial area in eastern Shinjuku, site of the Ministry of Defense.
Golden Gai: An area of tiny shanty-style bars and clubs. Musicians, artists, journalists, actors and directors gather here, and the ramshackle walls of the bars are literally plastered with film posters.
Kabukichō: A red-light district well known for its bars, restaurants, and sex-related establishments.
Kagurazaka: Once one of Tokyo's last remaining hanamachi or geisha districts. Sometimes nicknamed Little Paris, Kagurazaka currently hosts a sizable French community.[4]
Nishi-Shinjuku: Home to Tokyo's largest concentration of skyscrapers. Several of the tallest buildings in Tokyo are located in this area, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, KDDI Building and Park Tower. Located west of Shinjuku Station.
Shin-Ōkubo: Tokyo's historic ethnic Korean neighborhood.
Shinjuku Gyoen is a large park, 58.3 hectares, 3.5 km in circumference, blending Japanese traditional, English Landscape and French Formal style gardens.
Shinjuku Ni-chōme: Tokyo's best-known gay district[citation needed].
Takadanobaba and Waseda: The area between Waseda University, one of the most prestigious private universities in Japan, and Takadanobaba Station is a major residential and nightlife area for students[citation needed].
Yotsuya: An upscale residential and commercial district; the Arakichō area is well known for its many small restaurants, bars, and izakaya.

(4K) The Most Amazing Japanese Traditional Autumn Festival and Food 2019 |
The Kakegawa Festival, which retains the tradition of the castle town, is a joint festival of 7 towns and 41 towns in the center of Kakegawa Station in the beginning of October every year. Today, it is not limited to shrine-level festivals, but it is characterized by seven shrines as one festival, and it is a festival that you can enjoy and entertain. Backed by the Kakegawa Castle towering in the autumn sky, gorgeously decorated flats walk through the towns, and the city is dyed in a festive atmosphere with the dynamic tone of the lions.

Yodobashi Camera
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Yodobashi Camera Co.,Ltd. (ヨドバシカメラ) is a chain store mainly selling electronic products. Currently, there are 21 stores in Japan. It also maintains two online stores in China; one with a limited selection of products from its Japanese online store through SBI VeriTrans that supports payments by UnionPay, and another it operates itself that does not but has a selection more closely matching its Japanese store.
The store's theme song is a bouncy cover of The Battle Hymn of the Republic.
Akihabara
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Akihabara (Japanese: 秋葉原), also known as Akihabara Electric Town (Japanese: 秋葉原電気街 Hepburn: Akihabara Denki Gai), is a district of Tokyo, Japan. It is located less than five minutes by rail from Tokyo Station. Its name is frequently shortened to Akiba (アキバ) in Japan. While there is an official locality named Akibahara, which is also 秋葉原 in kanji, nearby (as part of Taitō-ku), the area known to most people as Akihabara (including the railway station of the same name) also include Soto-Kanda, a part of Chiyoda-ku.
Akihabara is a major shopping area for electronic, computer, anime, games and otaku goods, including new and used items. New items are mostly to be found on the main street, Chūōdōri, with many kinds of used items found in the back streets of Soto Kanda 3-chōme. New parts for PC-building are readily available from a variety of stores. Tools, electrical parts, wires, microsized cameras and similar items are found in the cramped passageways of Soto Kanda 1-chōme (near the station). Foreign tourists tend to visit the big name shops like Laox or other speciality shops near the station, though there is more variety and lower prices at locales a little further away. Akihabara gained some fame through being home to one of the first stores devoted to personal robots and robotics.
The area was just out of Sujikai-gomon city gate (present Mansei bridge) which was one of the city gates (Mitsuke) of old Edo (Tokyo). It was the gateway from inner Edo to northern and northwestern Japan and Kan'ei-ji temple in Ueno. Many dealers, craftsmen and relatively lower class samurai lived there.
Akihabara Station
Akihabara Station (秋葉原駅 Akihabara-eki) is a railway station located in Tokyo's Chiyoda ward. It is at the center of the famous Akihabara shopping district specializing in electronic goods.
