A Cycling Tour Through Tokyo's Old Towns
I went on a cycling tour through Tokyo's old towns and backstreets with Magical Trip. All of their trips are led by a local guide, and on this one I got to check out Asakusa, Ueno and Yanaka, even cycling through Akihabara on the way home. The local guide taught us how to do both shrine and temple visits properly (I found out many things I never knew!) and also taste yummy treats as well as fit in time for lunch and shopping.
A big thank you to Magical Trip for sponsoring this video.

Japan Train Bento Top 8 Must-Buy at Tokyo Station | Japanese Street Food Tour
Japanese Street Food Tour and Japan Train Bento / ekiben Top 8 Guide at Tokyo Station. This Tokyo Guide shows what Shinkansen Bento to buy when at Tokyo Station for Japan travelers. This Food Tour of Tokyo Station reviews eikiben food shop options and recommends my favorite Japanese bentos. Street Food in Japan is amazing and the Japanese food offered at Tokyo station is a must try.
Tokyo station is one the main transportation hubs connecting local and shinkansen train lines. But what a lot of people don’t realize, is that Tokyo station has some of the most incredible food shops in Tokyo. And some of the bentos are a must pickup, before getting on a long shinkansen train ride.
Basically, there are 4 main bento shopping areas at Tokyo station. Ecute Keiyo Street, South Court Ecute, Ekibenya Matsuri and Gransta. Gransta is on the basement floor, while the other 3 are on the 1st floor.
Bento (弁当 bentō) is a single-portion take-out or home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine. A traditional bento holds rice or noodles, fish or meat, with pickled and cooked vegetables, in a box.
Containers range from disposable mass-produced to hand-crafted lacquerware. Bento are readily available in many places throughout Japan, including convenience stores, bento shops (弁当屋 bentō-ya), railway stations, and department stores.
Ekiben (駅弁, railway boxed meals) are a specific type of bento boxed meals, sold on trains and train stations in Japan. They come with disposable chopsticks (when necessary) or spoons. Ekiben containers can be made from plastic, wood, or ceramic. Many train stations have become famous for their ekiben made from local food specialties (tokusanhin).
Ekiben were first sold in railway stations in the late 19th century, and developed at a time when meals on train were necessary during a long train journey.
Tokyo Station (東京駅 Tōkyō-eki) is a railway station in the Chiyoda City, Tokyo, Japan. The original station is located in Chiyoda's Marunouchi business district near the Imperial Palace grounds. The newer Eastern extension is not far from the Ginza commercial district.

Why I avoid Harajuku’s Takeshita Street?
(Because I’m a spoiled rotten resident of Tokyo who doesn’t appreciate the blinky lights and J-pop songs anymore - it’s like Times Square or Piccadilly Circus. Avoid or be eaten by metallic clothing ... and blinky lights!)
But there is a solution, take a left, pass the shrine, come out the other side \(^-^)/ then explore the back streets of Omotesando / Harajuku instead.
Tourists love it, but ... well, okay, it’s part of Tokyo’s identity so ... Takeshita Street, I’ll walk you once this year for the love of Tokyo????????????
WHERE IS THIS?
Walking in Tokyo. From Harajuku to Shibuya, via Cat Street - 原宿・渋谷 - 4K
In this video I will take you on a walk from Harajuku to Shibuya, via the famous Cat Street, lined with hip and trendy fashion shops. Compared to Takeshita Dori, the crowd on Cat Street is slightly older, something that's evident if you compare the number of street food vendors specializing in highly sweetened crepes on the two streets. I start on Takeshita Dori, and walk along Cat Street down until it intersects with Meji Dori, passing Omotesando Avenue on my way there. In Shibuya I will pass the big scramble crossing, before eventually ending up at JR Shibya Station.
This video was shot in June 2018 with a LG V20 (Wide Angle Lens) mounted on a DJI Osmo Mobile 2. 4K / Ultra HD resolution.
Feel free to suggest any area you want me to visit in the comments below. And please like and subscribe to my channel if you like my travel videos from Tokyo.

Day in the Life of a Japanese Car Repair Worker in Toyota
Living in Japan and working in a traditional Japanese office environment. This is a Toyota day in the life of a Japanese Auto Repair Shop worker, 30 year old, Erina. This is also a Japanese office tour inside of a Japanese auto repair shop in Toyota. We start this very typical day in her Japanese home, commute via Toyota car to her Toyota car repair shop. This is a day in the life of Erina and we get to see her with co-workers and Japanese mechanics in how they work in Japan. This is a peak into Japanese work culture as well as the work culture in Japan. We see her typical working hours in Japan and how it is working in Japan as a female in her position also known as a Japanese office lady, Japanese OL or Japanese salary woman. Her day in the life in Japan may be a bit different than some Japanese salarymen, but her experiences in the office and auto repair shop is quite common for Japanese employees in her position. The Japanese auto repair shop is also pretty common in terms of work-life. If anythings, the car repair shop is a very traditional office in Japan with Rajio Taiso, cleaning and work ethic. So all in all, this is an example of Japan life as well as Japan countryside life if you were to work in a traditional Japanese company. You should always be aware of Japanese culture when working in a Japanese office.

???? Tokyo Evening Walk From Akihabara to Ueno via Ameyoko- 4K 60 FPS Binaural Audio - Slow TV
Back again to paradise for all geeks and otaku - It's time for another Akihabara video!
This time I'm visiting In October 2019. It's been a while since my last video from here, and some parts have changed since my last visit, most notably the big new building next to the JR Akihabara Sation.
This time I'm starting at Akihabara Station, before heading down to Chuo-Dori, the main street filled with game centres, anime and manga goods shops. I will also take you through several of the smaller back streets in the area as well. Eventually, I stroll through some quieter parts of town until I reach Ameyoko, the biggest open-air market in Tokyo. Eventually, I end up at the bustling bar and nightlife streets in Ueno where the video ends.
As someone requested a video where I walk slower, I tried to take it a bit easier than usual this time. Hopefully that also helps with the stability of the video, please let me know what you think about the quality in the comments below.
Audio was captured with an external binaural microphone. Please use headphones for maximum immersion.

I hope you like this travel video from Tokyo. Please let me know if there are any other places you would like to see me visit, or if you have any other opinions about my movies. I would also be more than happy to hear if you have any ideas on what I can do to make my videos better / more interesting.
Thank you for watching, and please subscribe to my channel if you want to see more travel videos from Japan like this.

There was also Sumida river lanterns event but after waiting for an hour there was no much to see so I left for Skytree.

Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
Kappabashi is a street to the west from Sensoji temple in Taito City, Tokyo. The street is well known for restaurant tools shops including fake food.
Filmed in UltraHD 4K with Lumix GH4 camera and Beholder DS-1 stabilizer.
