Drought damage shuts down KC's Wornall House
Kansas City's 155-year-old Wornall House will shut down at least through the summer so crews can repair cracks in the facade and foundation from the last two years of drought.

A wildly popular minstrel tune from the early 1840's. We recorded this in the 1858 John Wornall House in Kansas City, Mo. The painting behind us is the famous depiction of the 1863 Order #11, painted by George Caleb Bingham, which de-populated several western counties in Missouri, in an attempt to deprive partisan pro-southern guerrillas of their base of operations.
