One of the best things to do when you travel is eat delicious local food. So one of the ideas I like to do when I visit any destination is eat a typical breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Japanese food is amazing, and in Tokyo you have so many options of what to eat, so on this Japanese food tour, I decided to eat a mix of typical and authentic Japanese food.
Breakfast at Shokudo diner 東新宿食堂
Japanese breakfast can be very regional in Japan, but a good typical Japanese breakfast is a bowl of rice, miso soup, and often a piece of grilled fish like a mackerel. Just down the road from where I was staying in Tokyo, we went to the local diner for some Japanese breakfast.
Price - 1,690 JPY ($15.29) for everything on my tray
Lunch at Sanshuya 三州屋
This is one of the best local Japanese restaurants I’ve ever been to in Tokyo. Thank you to Yuko for this recommendation. It’s a small hole-in-the-wall restaurant that serves incredibly fresh fish and daily specials. Amazing little restaurant in Ginza, for best Japanese food.
Total price - 3,300 JPY ($29.87) for 2
Dinner at Shibuya Morimoto Yakitori
There are so many different Japanese food you can choose to eat for dinner, but one of the common businessman meals is an afterwork stop at an izakaya (a Japanese pub). One type of izakaya is a yakitori restaurant, serving grilled chicken. I went to a restaurant called Shibuya Morimoto, a wonderful chicken heaven and ordered the omakase set. The chicken sashimi was actually incredible!
Total price - 9,001 JPY ($81.45) for 2
So that wraps up this authentic Japanese food tour of breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Tokyo. Thank you for watching!

Spending last day together in Tokyo, Japan | Eating amazing food and seeing Ginza
Our Japan trip has come to an end and this is how we spent our last day in Tokyo together before Angelina leaves! We decided to have THE BEST okonomiyaki in Tokyo at Okonomiyaki Zen in Shinjuku. I always go to this place because they do amazing vegan and vegetarian Okonomiyaki and fully understand what it means to be a vegetarian or vegan in Japan! Japan is full of amazing food and you can still try it even if you are a vegan or a vegetarian!
We also took a walk around the Ginza district Chuo Dori Shopping Street. The roads are closed and it becomes a pedestrian paradise where you can walk around freely and fully explore this must visit and see place in Tokyo!! This is something you can do only in Tokyo!
Our Japanese journey has come to an end for now, we had an amazing time visiting all the incredible prefectures and Japanese cities. Maybe our travel through Japan will give you an idea of the must do things when visiting this beautiful country!

This is my first international trip in which I traveled to Japan for the first time. Although this video doesn't contain all the footage as I lost my SD card. It was planned to make a real vlog but it ended up being just a glimpse of my whole vlog.
It was a great experience in Japan. I love the food, culture, the people,
atmosphere and the way the country welcome me. I made a lot of friends from all over the globe and with them, my journey became more pleasant and interesting.

This is Tokyo's Very Own Cabin In The Woods
A quick 10 minute walk from the Nakameguro station, CABIN sits along the Meguro river and offers an extensive selection of whiskies with particular attention to the Japanese variety. While it feels like a homey log cabin in Canada, the cocktail craftsmanship is undoubtedly Japanese.

Katsura - Discover the Real Japan in Canada
One of the many reasons travelers visit Japan is to experience the fresh healthy food and unique culture of this truly extraordinary country.
But, if you live in or plan to visit Toronto, it's not necessary to fly all the way to the Far East to get a glimpse into the real Japan. All you have to do is drop into Katsura restaurant at the Westin Prince Hotel and you will be immediately transported 10,346 kilometers to Tokyo!
Fresh ingredients, fresh fish and beautifully marbled Wagyu beef are flown in express air service direct from Japan on a weekly basis. And, Tanahashi san, the master chef at Katsura, meticulously watches over every detail to assure consistently high levels of freshness and quality.
Besides having a variety of special sections dedicated to Teppanyaki, Sushi & Sashimi as well as a wonderful Tatame mat room for the real Japanese experience (mind you, there is room for visitors legs) there's also tradiional style dining available in the main dining room.
The decor, the vast variety of Saki, Kimino clad servers, and overall ambience is breathtaking....truly Japanese and beyond reproach. No wonder Katsura is a favourite for all Japanese living in Canada.
Discover Japan right here in Canada. We highly recommend Katsura Restaurant for a truly unique and healthy dining experience plus a glimpse into the wonders and mysteries of the Far East.
