Hatchobori Slide at the Tokyo Canadian Embassy 1999
In the summer of 1999, (a completely different millennium than now), a kilted man slides bravely down the 5 storey escalator at the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo.
Risking life and limb, I, I mean, HE, was off balance half way down the course. Luckily, an unsuspecting good samaritan escalatorian whom was mid-ride, sacrificed his leg comfort by allowing the kilted slider to push off' in an attempt to straighten out his trajectory. Had this not happened, it is suspected that the rail luger may have landed face down and kilt up on the sharpened edge of an escalator step.
Once at the bottom, the young lad was abruptly halted by a metal fixture between the handrails.

猿島Sarushimaで撮影しました。
猿島は神奈川県の無人島で、有名な観光地です。
猿島は旧日本軍が要塞として利用していた島です。現在は観光地として整備されており、多くの観光客で賑わっています。
アクセス
京急線
横須賀中央駅から徒歩約15分
三笠公園から船で約10分
猿島は無人島なので船で行かなければいけません。
船は約1時間に一本運行しています。
・大人 1400円
・子供 700円
先日猿島に行ってきましたが、風が強く船がとても揺れていました。
10分と短いですが、船酔いは気をつけた方がいいかもしれません。
猿島に着くとまず浜辺に降ります。
浜辺では夏にバーベキューができ、楽天ドローンを頼めば本島のSEIYUからドローンで食材を運んでくれます。
バーベキュー以外にも猿島内を回るだけでもとても楽しめます。
・きれいなレンガ
YouTubeの動画に表示されていると思いますが、とにかくレンガが綺麗です。
日本ではかなり珍しいフランス積みと呼ばれる方法でレンガが積まれています。
・ジブリのような世界観
猿島の内部に進むと徐々に世界観が変わってきます。
よく例えられるのが「ジブリ」ですね。
私はジブリを少し見た事がある程度ですが、ジブリを感を感じました。
歩道の両サイドには当時利用されていた大砲台や爆弾庫などがあります。
人がとても少ないととても神秘的な感じです。
歩いていると、なぜか秘密基地にいるような気持ちにもなってしまいました。
猿島を半周回ると、貿易船を見る事ができます！近くに横須賀市や横浜市がある関係で船が運行してます。
海を見渡す事ができますが、砂浜はないので注意！
・散歩には最適
猿島内は歩道が整備されておりとても歩きやすいです。
多少の坂道や階段があるものの、そこまできついものではありません。
猿島はいくつか道が分かれていますが、道なりに進めば一周できます。
なので、どちらに行こうかそこまで悩まなくても大丈夫です。
帰りの船
帰りの船も1時間に1本です。

I took the video when I traveled to Ibusuki City from Kagoshima City.
I took the slow train this time, but you can take rapid or express train to go to Ibusuki City.
I also took the videos of following stations of Ibusuki-Makurazaki Line. Watch and enjoy!

This is the center of transportation in Kagoshima.
Final stop of Kyushu Shinkansen (Bullet Train) from Osaka.
This station is the starting point of the Ibusuki-Makurazaki Line.
The big Ferris is the symbol of the station!

You can take foot bath for free at the station.
Let's also take sand bathj after getting off the train!
(Miyagahama Station)
The closest station to the sea in Japan.
The train station is also famous for the musician TSUYOSHI NAGABUCHI.
There is a shop selling a SWEET POTATE CANDY at the station.
(Nishi-Oyama Station)
The most southern station in Japan.
There is also an travel information center near the station.
It is the best place to view Mt. Kaimon.
(Makurazaki Station)
This is the final stop of the Ibusuki-Makurazaki Line.
The platform of the station is very cute and won the Good Design Award.

葛西臨海公園に初めて行きました。
共有関係のユーザーの方の動画から何度か見させて頂いて興味は長いこと持っていましたが最近ある方の投稿された動画に次期東京オリンピックのカヌー競技の為にこの
公園内の野鳥公園部分を競技会場として工事し直して壊すと言う話があり、
僕も大いに驚きまして一度行ってみようかとほんの2週間程度前に行く決心を付けました。
今までろくに関心も持ちませんでしたがやはりこうしてみると結構な公園で
カヌー競技もよろしいがもう少しその工事と言うのも何とかならん物かなと思いました。
日曜で人出も多く憩いの公園のようであまり形を変えて欲しくない物だなと思います。
I visited Kasai Rinkai Koen (Kasai seaside park) in Edogawa ward,Tokyo.
It is a very large park beside the sea located at the east end of Tokyo.
I had known about this park so I had wanted to go there for a long time.
But it was only about two weeks ago that I decided to go there.
I had seen videos which feature this park uploaded by other users several times,especially who have subscribed channels each other.
Recently I have become aware of the issues relate to the environment for birds owing to one of those videos I had seen.
In part of this park there is an area which was prepared for bringing birds together.
We can watch birds and their behavior in this area for pleasure or shooting their pictures.
As you have already known,Tokyo won the right to host the next olympic game in 2020
and this area may possibly be destroyed in order to construct the stadium and course for canoe competition.
So I had also been interested in this issue and tried to see what this area is like now.
If this area is destroyed for such a purpose,it is almost tragedy and terrible loss of social
and cultural property.
I hope the authorities not to break and change the state of this area so much
to make it least and to keep the environment.
