This video features the Bang Phli Yai 100 Year Old Floating Market located behind Bang Phli Big C Supermarket in Samut Prakan, Thailand. We took a walk through the local floating market and the sights and smells were amazing! My hope is that you get a feeling of what it is like to be in a real Thai market away of the tourist locations in Thailand and Bangkok. While almost no one speaks English they are mostly happy to help you try new food dishes and desserts. Enjoy this look into a typical Sunday afternoon living a Thai lifestyle

Floating Market Bang Phli Thai Food, Massage & More
We took our very first trip to the floating market at Bang Phli, surprisingly given that it’s only a 15 minute drive from our house. It’s about 30km’S from the centre Bangkok and only 20Km’s from Suvarnabhumi airport.
The market is a fantastic way to spend a few hours browsing, shopping and eating. We also indulged in a Traditional Thai massage while we were there.
Rain that morning kept us from going early enough to experience everything that the market had to offer and so we will plan to make many more trips to what has quickly become one of our favourite places to go.
We hope that you enjoyed watching this video.

This wonderful event happened on 11 August 2017 around 1 p.m. While mother with young daughter driving on Mae Sod - Aum Phang Road, Chiang Mai Province, her car accidentally slid the road side and fell down the cliff for 200 meters. The car was so much damaged, but it was unbelievable that people inside were all safe. THAILAND TEMPLE : Wat Bang Phli Yai Nai (วัดบางพลีใหญ่ใน)
Wat Bang Phli Yai Nai is located on the canalside of Khlong Samrong, Tambon Bang Phli Yai. The temple was formerly known as Wat Phlapphla Chai Chana Songkhram built to commemorate King Naresuan the Great’s victory over the Burmese. Later, a large bronze Buddha image of the Sukhothai style in the gesture of subduing Mara, with open eyes, was taken to be enshrined as the principal image of Phra Ubosot. The image became much revered by the people who have called it Luangpho To. Hence, the temple is otherwise known as Wat Luangpho To. During the annual Yon Bua or Rap Bua Festival which takes place one day before the full moon of the 11th lunar month, Luangpho To will be taken in a boat procession along the canal. There is an old canalside market near the temple where visitors can walk around and buy some food and useful items. Open during 8.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.
