Wat Kasattrathirat is located along the Chao Phraya River in Ayutthaya. It is a modern looking temple compound, with a older (small by Ayutthaya standards) prang behind the newer buildings. The grounds are expansive and it is a good place to wind down a bit.

Wat PhutthaiSawan is an historically important temple compound, located along the Chao Praya river just south of Ayutthaya island. New buildings now are in front of the older historical ones. The whitewashed old prang stands impressive in its courtyard. There is also a Reclining Buddha Image. Be sure to walk all the way through the compound to find it.

วัดใหญ่ชัยมงคล / Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon
In this video of my journey to Ayutthaya, I venture off the island to visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon or the “Great Monastery of Auspicious Victory”.
In 1357 two princes of Ayutthaya, Chao Kaeo and Chao Thai, died of cholera. King Ramathibodhi I (r. 1350 - 1369) ordered the bodies of both princes to be exhumed and at their cremation site, a monastery with a holy stupa and a preaching hall (viharn), be established. He gave the monastery the name “Wat Pa Kaeo” or the Monastery of the Crystal Forest.
The temple became the home of Buddhist monks ordained and trained at the Monastery of Phra Wanaratanathen in present day Sri Lanka. The Sangha group was mainly engaged in meditation. As the group gained the popularity, the King then appointed the head of the sect to become Somdet Phra Wannarat or the Right Supreme Patriarch. The monastery became known as “Wat Chao Phya Thai” - The Monastery of the Supreme Patriarch.
In 1767 the temple was sacked by the Burmese and was abandoned.
The monastery was re-established and officially recognised in 1957.
The chedi of Wat Yai Chai Monglhon is one of the landmarks of Ayutthaya, standing at little over 62 m in height, and is visible to all, who approach the city from the east.

Wat Phanan Choeng is a lively temple compound at the junction of the Pasak and Chao Phraya River in Ayutthaya. While the temple structures themselves are a bit unremarkable by Ayutthaya standards, the main attraction is the huge gilded Buddha Image Phra Phanan Choeng. Religious ceremonies take place here regularly. You can witness the changing of the robes of the Buddha.

I found some lost footages from some special places i had chance to fly with my TBS Discovery.
During one of these flights, i crashed just before landing because i was totally focused on my target and i had so many fun that i forgot to check my LIPO voltage on my OSD and my countdown alarm on my radio control.
When i thought about it, my LIPO was already 14.0V & i was still 1.5KM away from home. I came back quickly but 50 meters just in front of me, LIPO had no more juice, i had no choice except emergency landing in a tree for avoiding the most critical damages. I did great.
Only one dampener removed on my ghetto gimbal. 30 minutes later, i was back in the air for another sweet ride...

Temple trip Wat Na Phra Men / Ayutthaya 那普拉梅汝寺 / 大城府
Wat Na Phra Men (also spelled Phra Main) is located off the city island in the northern area of Ayutthaya. It was registered as a National Historic Site with the Fine Arts Department on 25 February 1935.
Wat Na Phra Men was one of only a few to escape the Burmese army's razing of Ayutthaya in 1767.
In the small vihara of Wat Na Phra Men is the Phra Khantharat or the Mon Period stone Buddha image. This stone image is distinguished by its unique posture in Thai art (hands on knees) and is actually seen to be Chinese in terms of aesthetics.
那普拉梅汝寺位于关在大城府的北部地区的城市小岛。它被登记在1935年2月25日与美术系国家历史遗址。是只有少数逃脱大城的缅甸军队夷为平地于1767年之一。

At Big Buddha Hill or Wat Phra Yai you can see the biggest Buddha image of Chonburi province, visible from far away approaching the hill.
Known for its 18 meters Buddha, this place is also called the “Big Buddha”. The location is 100 meters above sea level, so it appears like the Buddha is watching over Pattaya. The temple complex itself is an active temple, so it’s a great place for you to observe the religious culture of the locals.
