Nunavut 2014 (Pt. 11) - Bucket List Dream Come True

November 20, 2014 - I've had a bucket list of travel destinations for some time, and on this today, I crossed off what I considered to be the toughest things to accomplish: travel to Nunavut. Being the most remote part of Canada, only a lot of money and a darn good reason would get me here. Once Sophie took a job up here in Rankin Inlet for a few months, that was enough reason to go.

Vio & Gabriela Fly Over Calgary

My girlfriend and I had a chance to fly a brand new DA20-C1 Evolution over Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The aircraft was delivered to Calgary Flight Training Centre less than two weeks ago from the Diamond Aircraft plant in London, Ontario Canada. We took off from High-River and flew North to Calgary, where we had the chance to see this wonderful city from the air. Thanks to Dan and the NAV Canada controllers for making this possible.
