Visit Ireland
People from all over the world visit Ireland every year; there is no denying that our little country is one of the most beautiful on the planet! The other morning, in the beginning of October, I decided to go for a drive around my local area in Ballinskelligs. After my drive, I realised one thing: many times in our lives we take the beauty of the place we were born and reared for granted. But that particular morning it struck me: where we live is undoubtedly painted by God himself! It is also no surprise that people from different backgrounds and regions visit Ireland and specifically us, in Ballinskelligs.
Now that you have seen this idyllic beach and the McCarthy Castle in the distance, let us go to Reen pier. It is here that the fishing boats and tour boats set out to fish or take you to the mystical Skelligs. After taking a few shots here, I want to sneak out to the Glen.
As I drive to the Glen, you see the beautiful landscapes of Ballinskelligs, Waterville and Caherdaniel in the distance behind me. I am on my way down into the Glen, where I find the Skelligs Rock waiting and protecting us; out to my left, as I meander to the Glen pier, I relax and enjoy a coffee, while soaking up one of the most peaceful places this earth has to offer. It is here I have decided to finish my images for today.
I hope you have enjoyed travelling with me and I hope I have inspired you to visit Ireland and us, at Goggin's Trips and Tours.
