Tuosist is a parish in the far south of County Kerry, Ireland. It shares the Béara Peninsula with the neighbouring parishes of County Cork, and the Caha Mountains form the county border. The nearest town is Kenmare. The parish is part of the barony of Glanrought and is divided into three District Electoral Divisions - Dawros, Ardea and Glenmore. Local attractions include the Uragh Stone Circle, Uragh Wood, Cloonee and Inchiquin Loughs, the Healy Pass,Glenmore Lake, Derreen Garden, and Gleninchaquin Park. 1. Uragh Stone Circle Tuosist
The Uragh Stone Circle is a neolithic stone circle near Gleninchaquin Park, Tuosist, County Kerry, Ireland. Situated near Lough Inchiquin, it consists of five megaliths. The largest stone is ten feet high and the circle is eight feet in diameter. There are two brilliant quartz stones at the south, as well as one off center within the ring.

Derrynane Abbey is a ruined abbey in County Kerry, Republic of Ireland. It is located near the town of Caherdaniel and is very close to Derrynane House, the house of Daniel O'Connell. Derrynane Abbey is on an island appropriately named Abbey Island. It is accessible from the mainland through a beach. It is believed to have been built in the 6th century.

The R574 is an Irish regional road in the Beara peninsula which crosses the Caha Mountains via the Healy Pass. It runs from the R572 at Adrigole in County Cork to the R571 near Lauragh in County Kerry. It is a popular tourist route with the pass at an altitude of 300m giving panoramas towards Bantry Bay to the south-east and the Kenmare River to the north-west. The original track, called the Kerry Pass, was cut during the Great Famine as a poor relief public works project. It was renamed for Timothy Michael Healy, former Governor-General of the Irish Free State, who died in 1931 shortly after the road was improved. The name Healy Pass is now also applied to the pass itself, previously called Ballaghscart or Ballyscarta, anglicisations of Irish: Bealach Scairte, which remains its Irish name...
