Menorca means ‘smaller island’ and Mallorca means ‘larger island’ and you’ll definitely find a quieter pace in Menorca. For a start, we visited lots of beaches. We visited Cala en Bosch, Cala Galdana, Cala Blanca and Cala en Forcat. That’s a lot, even if there’s loads more, obviously, on the island, so check out video on Menorca beaches for a lot more insight.
Near the beach of Cala Galdana we discovered a cheese museum! Which might sound a little strange but we actually loved it. We were treated to watching the cheeses being made, an extensive presentation on how the cheese is made, we tried the varying maturities of cheese and we learnt about the wines they make there too. But there’s also a stunning hotel in there. So we’ve just picked up a brochure for it. Just have a little flick through; everything is white and serene and just beautiful. I would absolutely recommend coming here if you want to get away from the resorts. This is only 15 minutes from Cala Galdana.
Speaking of resorts, we visited the lesser-known Binibeca, a town with a laid-back way of life and loads of traditional character. With its white-washed houses and al fresco dining; the pretty harbour and cute little alleyways, it felt really charming but still very sophisticated. And that’s it, so, bye…
Moving away from resorts and on to Roman ruins and burial grounds at Torre d’en Galmes. This ancient archeological site dates back to the Bronze Age. You can wander round for as long as you like and pretty much wherever you like and try to imagine what is must have been like to live and die amongst all of these imposing stone structures. And it all cost €3, pretty reasonable!
If you like the sound of this, the Cala Morell necropolis is pretty similar but on a bigger scale. There are 14 caves with a beautiful beach and stunning views across the bay.
Coming back to civilisation, the ciutadella is in the west of the island. In the main square you’ll find the cathedral, that dates back to 1362! Wowza! There’s a town hall and right in the centre is an obelisk that commemorates the city’s defence against the Moors when they attacked in 1558. There are cute little pop-up markets which you can wander through down to the harbour, where you’ll find cobbled streets, tapas bars, restaurants and nightlife.
The ciutadella is about 30 miles from the airport and on a clear day you can see straight over into Mallorca! In fact, a ferry between here and Mallorca’s Puerta del Alcudia costs around €59 per person and only takes two and a half hours so, why not check out two islands in one trip?
We recommend you pre-book that, especially in the peak season and especially if you’re travelling by car…on the boat… In fact, if you wanted to check out what to do in Mallorca, check out our video called Things To Do in Mallorca. Thanks for watching! Bye!

Top 5 Hikes Minorca (Menorca)
This video shares the best 5 hiking trails in Menorca (Minorca). All 5 trails come from the Camí de Cavalls, an ancient path of +185 km (+115 miles) that encircles the island of Menorca, Spain. This long-distance walking route is the GR 223 of the Senderos de Gran Recorrido network in Spain. Reach some of the most inaccessible beaches of Menorca. This is one of the absolute best way to explore the island. This is also one of the best thru hikes as it is not too long, and a great way to jump into the fast growing sport.

In the middle of the mediterranean, awaits a gem so special that few ever get to step a foot on it’s shores.
A small island full of beautiful seaside villages, time tested gastronomy, and endless awe provoking landscapes.
Minorca!
Different from it’s other Balearic siblings by being the only island designated by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve. Creating a land preserved in a raw state of existence, free from the spoils of overdevelopment.
The best way to absorb all the island has to offer is by literally walking it’s entire coast. That’s right!
Each year avid explorers arrive here to complete a 185 kilometer thru hike, known as the Camí de Cavalls.
Here you will stumble across beaches that you only thought existed in your dreams, and awaiting those with a yearning for a real adventure.
So join me as I set out on foot to discover this diverse and rugged destination.

Today's travel vlog takes me to the coolest bar ever in Menorca, Spain.

We're still here in Menorca, Spain. And, as you can probably tell by the energy at the start of the video, we've been having some bar nights here so far. It's been a bit of a party. But, we're also doing workshops. I led one on drone flying in the morning, and then in the afternoon we continued our socializing and fun.
We started by hanging out at the Barcelo Hamilton which has this beautiful rooftop bar with views of the sea. Then, we headed off to the coolest bar ever.
This Menorca Cave bar is called Cova d'en Xoroi which is set into the cliffs over the sea. It is absolutely amazing. It's actually one of the coolest bars I've ever been to. I'm not sure there's a more spectacular place in the world to have a drink.
We were only planning on spending an hour at Cova d'en Xoroi, but the location was so epic that we ended up staying for over 2 hours and got some beautiful views of a stunning Menorca sunset.
After leaving the cave bar, we retreated to our hotel to end the night.
