Places to see in ( Menorca - Spain ) Cala Galdana
The resort of Cala Galdana has to be one of the most beautiful locations on Menorca’s south coast, located towards the west of the island in the municipal region of Ferreries. The resort has been carefully developed with quiet roads, with some gorgeous privately owned villas and apartments and a good range of hotels to suite all budgets.
The resort is about twenty-two miles (36km) from the airport in Mao (Mahon) and the journey (via the town of Ferreries) along the Me-1 road will take around 45 minutes in light traffic. A taxi journey will cost you in the region of 40 euro’s from the airport terminal or alternatively there are buses running between Cala Galdana to Mahon that will cost you 4 euros each.
Cala Galdana is an ideal destination for families or couples looking for a peaceful quiet resort with excellent amenities. The resort is located at the base of the Algendar Gorge that helps create a dramatic landscape, of high cliffs covered with aromatic pine trees with spectacular views. The Algendar river divides the resort with the district to the west known as Serpentona.

Top 5 Hikes Minorca (Menorca)
This video shares the best 5 hiking trails in Menorca (Minorca). All 5 trails come from the Camí de Cavalls, an ancient path of +185 km (+115 miles) that encircles the island of Menorca, Spain. This long-distance walking route is the GR 223 of the Senderos de Gran Recorrido network in Spain. Reach some of the most inaccessible beaches of Menorca. This is one of the absolute best way to explore the island. This is also one of the best thru hikes as it is not too long, and a great way to jump into the fast growing sport.
