2. Lake KournasKournas Lake Kournas is a lake on the island of Crete, Greece, near the village of Kournas. It is in the Apokoronas municipality of Chania regional unit close to the border with Rethymno regional unit, 47 km from the town of Chania. Kournas is a fairly large village perched on a hill overlooking the lake. Crete's only freshwater lake, Lake Kournas, is relatively large, with a perimeter of 3.5 km. Although almost all touristic leaflets say that it is possible to walk around the lake, that is not true. At least not at the end of the rain season . There is a nature preserve on the Southwest of the lake. But there is a rustic road from the North of the lake to the Hills on the West of the lake too. The lake used to be called 'Korisia' after ancient 'Korion', a city thought to be in the area with a tem... From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Kreta Crete Botanical Park & Gardens of Crete - magiczne piękno natury!
Botanical Park & Gardens Of Crete położony jest we wsi Skordalou, około 20 km od Chanii. Historia parku zaczyna się dość tragicznie. W 2004 roku wichura zerwała linie energetyczną, która wywołała ogromny pożar. Wokół wsi, której ludzie żyli w większości z produkcji oliwy spłonęło sześćdziesiąt tysięcy drzewek oliwnych mających ponad czterysta lat. Wioska została finansowo zrujnowana. Rodzina pomysłodawcy ogrodu straciła olbrzymią ilość drzewek oliwnych i pomarańczowych.
Serdecznie zapraszam do podróży razem z nami :D

survival hiking excursion in Crete: Tamariskos gorge
Beginning of the hike and walk Tamariskos Crete: From the mountain village we walk down towards the river. In the village you will have the last chance for a sanitary stop and to buy water. The walk down is fairly easy. Along the way we will see many plants, oregano, chamomile, mountain tea, and many other herbs and wild flowers. This path is an old concrete path, bringing us to the crossing of the Tamariskos canyon. At the beginning of the gorge is an old Turkish saddle bridge, which we will pass underneath in the direction of the river bed
