Hadera is a city located in the Haifa District of Israel, in the northern Sharon region, approximately 45 kilometers from the major cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa. The city is located along 7 km of the Israeli Mediterranean Coastal Plain. The city's population includes a high proportion of immigrants arriving since 1990, notably from Ethiopia and the former Soviet Union.   • 2. HaSharon Park Hadera
    HaSharon Park is an Israeli national park located alongside Highway 4 with the entrance to it going through the Hadera West Railway Station. The park consists of a large forest full of carob and Mount Tabor oak trees. It is bordered by the Alexander Stream National Park. The park also consists of a remnant of the swamps which used to cover the whole region, prevented the cultivation of the land, and caused malaria disease. These swamps were dried out. The park contains of many eucalyptus trees which were planted there in the early twentieth century in order to dry out the swamps. The park also has a beach which lined by eolianite hills. Part of it is suitable for bathing, and in other parts marine animals could be spotted. The sand of the park consists of typical desert plants.

    Nahal Hadera , also known as Nahr Mufjir in Arabic, is a seasonal watercourse in Israel. Nahal Hadera flows from the highlands in the northern West Bank and empties into the Mediterranean Sea at Hadera. The Hadera Water Park, located between Givat Olga and the power plant, is a 750-dunam park that holds a 40-metre-wide creek banked by a 1.3-km-long promenade. A dam is being constructed where the water park meets the Coastal Highway and is supposed to prevent the rehabilitated section of the stream from being polluted by water from the watercourse itself.
