Verviers is a Walloon city and municipality located in the Belgian province of Liège. The Verviers municipality includes the old communes of Ensival, Lambermont, Petit-Rechain, Stembert, and Heusy. Walibi Belgium, formerly Walibi Wavre and then Six Flags Belgium, is a Belgian theme park located in Wavre, close to Brussels. Dit is werkelijk waar een zeer bijzondere opname met bijzondere mensen.
In het Parkhotel was eerst de bijeenkomst van Bergen Extra Groen,en later zou deze Missverkiezing plaatsvinden in de zeer bekende Palermo van Jules Steenis.De presentatie is in handen van Krijn Torringa,en in de jury zitten o.a. Piet Mens,Cees Noort,Jos Peperkamp,Pieter Gootjes en Maja Westerman.
Er is een optreden van de toen zeer bekende zanger/entertainer Franklin Kennedy,en het leuke is dat bij het eerste liedje Cees Noort en zijn dochter Saskia het goede voorbeeld geven op de dansvloer.
Van de deelneemsters konden we niet de exacte namen terugvinden,maar ze komen allemaal voorbij in de show.
In ieder geval zagen we Diane Oudes,Marijke Min,Mieke Seinen,Sandra Schuitemaker en van de andere deelneemsters konden we de achternamen niet goed verstaan.Maar we hoorden de namen Judith,Ciska,Stella,Carolien enz. enz.
Greetje Den Tex Hoekmeijer heeft prachtige boeketjes gemaakt voor de deelneemsters,en Marius Hofhuis maakte de foto's.

Deze verkiezing is gelukkig helemaal compleet maar hij staat in 3 stukken verdeeld op dit kanaal.
We hebben gekozen voor de beste kwaliteit en dat kost ruimte.Anders had hij in z'n geheel op Youtube gestaan.Ook dit materiaal komt uit het archief van de Berger Omroep Stichting.
