Kincraig is a village located north of Kingussie and south of Aviemore in Highland, Scotland. The village lies at the side of the former A9 road and 101 metres away from the current A9. It is close to Loch Insh. It has a shop, post office, pub, watersports centre and village hall.

1. Loch Insh Watersports Kincraig
Loch Insh is a loch in Highlands region, Scotland. It is situated in the heart of Badenoch and Strathspey, seven miles south of Aviemore and seven miles north of Kingussie. The nearest village to the loch is Kincraig. The loch is a location for sailing, windsurfing and kayaking/canoeing. There is a well stocked watersports centre on the southeast side of the loch and good fishing also. The watersports centre is complemented by several Chalets and a small hotel by the name of Insh Hall.

Aigas Field Centre is a nature centre based at the home of naturalist and author Sir John Lister-Kaye, Aigas House. The centre was opened in 1977 by ecologist Sir Frank Fraser Darling, and provides nature-based holidays for adults and environmental education services for school children. It is located at Aigas, next to the River Beauly, 8 kilometres west of Beauly and 20 kilometres west of Inverness, in the Highlands of Scotland. 57.4389°N, 4.565°W. House of Aigas, once a Victorian sporting estate, was owned by the Gordon-Oswalds, who added the Victorian extensions to what was a 18th century tacksmans house. The house was then owned by Inverness County Council as an old people's home, before Lister-Kaye persuaded them to sell it to him. Aigas began a beaver demonstration project in 2006....

Glamis Castle is situated beside the village of Glamis in Angus, Scotland. It is the home of the Earl and Countess of Strathmore and Kinghorne, and is open to the public. Glamis Castle has been the home of the Lyon family since the 14th century, though the present building dates largely from the 17th century. Glamis was the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, wife of King George VI. Their second daughter, Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon, was born there. The castle is protected as a category A listed building, and the grounds are included on the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland, the national listing of significant gardens.

The Cairngorms are a mountain range in the eastern Highlands of Scotland closely associated with the mountain of the Cairn Gorm. The Cairngorms became part of Scotland's second national park on 1 September 2003. Although the Cairngorms give their name to, and are at the heart of, the Cairngorms National Park, they only form one part of the national park, alongside other hill ranges such as the Angus Glens and the Monadhliath, and lower areas like Strathspey. The Cairngorms consists of high plateaux at about 1000–1200 m above sea level, above which domed summits rise to around 1300 m. Many of the summits have tors, free-standing rock outcrops that stand on top of the boulder-strewn landscape. Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park (Scottish Gaelic: Pàirc Nàiseanta Loch Laomainn is nan Tròisichean) is a national park in Scotland centred on Loch Lomond, and includes several ranges of hills and the Trossachs. It was the first of the two national parks established by the Scottish Parliament in 2002, the second being the Cairngorms National Park.

The park is the fourth largest in the British Isles, with a total area of 1,865 km2 (720 sq mi) and a boundary of some 350 km (220 mi) in length. It includes 21 Munros (including Ben Lomond, Ben Lui, Beinn Challuim, Ben More and two peaks called Ben Vorlich), 19 Corbetts, two forest parks (Queen Elizabeth and Argyll) and 57 designated special nature conservation sites. There are two National Nature Reserves within the National Park: Loch Lomond National Nature Reserve and The Great Trossachs Forest National Nature Reserve. The former is managed by Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH), and the latter by a partnership of the Forestry Commission Scotland, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and the Woodland Trust (Scotland).

15,600 people live in the park, which is customarily split into four sections: Breadalbane, Loch Lomond, The Trossachs, and Argyll Forest Park.
