`Youth Day' or `Freedom Day'  - June 16 commemorates the June 16 1976 Soweto Uprising against using Afrikaans at schools - leading to the end of apartheid and to the exile of many thousands of young South Africans who left the country illegally to join resistance movements. June 16 commemorates the vital contribution of our youth to the liberation of South Africa from Apartheid and to the achievement of democracy.

Best Yellowtail Kingfish Fishing | Cape Point - South Africa

Cape Point nature reserve in Cape Town, South Africa hosts some of the world's best surface action fishing. Yellowtail often move past with the warmer currents chasing the hoards of baitfish that take refuge where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. If you get lucky, you can be out on the water when massive shoals of Yellowtail Kingfish annihilate the poor bait on the surface. We had one such day recently where we caught many of them on the surface with spinners. Amazing sight fishing and these big fish are extremely strong. Check out our day.
