The resort town of Magaluf on the Spanish island of Majorca is one of the top destinations for adventure seekers. If you’re looking for a wild and crazy experience, here are 10 things you can do during your next trip to Magaluf.
1. Speedboat Rental
What better way to explore the town and the island of Majorca than by speedboat? Tour companies take thrill-seeking guests out on the water for up to an hour . Various stops are made along the way to allow passengers to take in the sights of the glorious Magaluf shoreline.
2. Beer Bike Tour
Sometimes, all you need is a pint of beer, a bike, and a group of friends to turn any mundane trip into a crazy adventure. Not only do you get a prime seat on this mobile bar, but you also get to enjoy the sights around Magaluf…through beer goggles, of course.
3.Banana Boat Ride
Hold on tight and experience the high speed and winding turns on a fruit-inspired inflatable device. Most rides last about 10 minutes, but it will be the most exhilarating and action-packed 10 minutes of your life!
4. Cliff Jumping
You’ll experience the feeling of weightlessness as you plunge off the top of a cliff and into the majestic water of the Mediterranean Sea!
5. Sea Caving
This tour takes visitors into the depths of Magaluf’s hidden caves. Cave trekkers will spend a few hours touring the natural, underground rock formations and swimming within the jaw-dropping interior.
6. A Day at the Waterpark
There are multiple waterparks in Magaluf, and each one has something unique to offer. Western Park has a vertical drop that’s 100-feet high, the Tornado thrusts riders down the slide and into an open pool at an alarming speed...Are you game?
7. Rappelling
With some help from a rope and a trusty guide, travelers make their way down the edge of a cliff, while viewing the beautiful mountain springs, canyons, and the sea during their descent.

1. The Caves of Drach
- The Caves of Drach (lit. Dragon caves) are four great caves that are located in the island of Majorca. The caves extend to a depth of 25 m and reach approximately 4 km in length.The caves have formed by water being forced through the entrance from the Mediterranean Sea, and some researchers think the formation may date back to the Miocene Epoch.
2. Cap de Formentor
- Cap de Formentor forms the eastern end of Majorca's Formentor peninsula. The Majorcans also call the cape the Meeting point of the winds. Cap de Formentor is a spectacular place, located on the northernmost point of the Balaeric Island Majorca in Spain. Its highest point, Fumart, is 384m above sea level. It has many associated bays, including Cala Fiquera, Cala Murta and Cala Pi de la Posada.
3. Sa Calobra
- Sa Calobra is a small village in the Escorca municipality on the northwest coast of Majorca. The port village is a popular destination for coach trips and road cyclists and is accessible by a single winding road, designed by Italian engineer Antonio Parietti, which features many hairpin bends and a spiral bridge.
4. Clear blue water and beaches (my favorite beach: Caló des Moro)
- Caló des Moro is a beautiful virgin beach with crystal clear water, 6 Km from Santanyí, in the Southeast of Mallorca. Only 30 m wide and flanked by rocky cliffs and pine trees, Caló des Moro is largely unknown, even to locals and excellent for diving and anchoring small boats.
5. Es Pontàs
- Es Pontàs (The big bridge in catalan language) is a natural arch in the southeastern part of the island of Mallorca.[1] The arch is located on the coastline between the Cala Santanyí and Cala Llombards in the municipality of Santanyí.

5. Serra De Tramuntana
It is a mountain range running southwest–northeast which forms the northern backbone of the Spanish island of Mallorca.
The highest peak is the Puig Major, which, at 1,445 metres is the highest mountain in the Balearic Islands.
4. Bellver Castle
It is a Gothic style castle. It was built in the 14th century for King James II of Majorca, and is one of the few circular castles in Europe.
It is now under civilian control, being one of the main tourist attractions of the island, as well as the seat for the city's History Museum.
3. Cuevas Del Drach
Cuevas Del Drach are four great caves. The caves extend to a depth of 25 m and reach approximately 4 km in length.
The four caves, called Black Cave, White Cave, Cave of Luis Salvador, and Cave of the French, are connected to each other.
2. Ferrocarril de Soller
It is an interurban railway and the name for the company which operates the electrified 3 ft (914 mm) narrow gauge tracks.
The famous train is now not only a mode of transport between these two key Mallorcan settlements, but also an attraction in itself.

It is a commercial aquarium and park that first opened in 2007. The aquarium is the property of Coral World International.
The aquarium is 500 m (1,600 ft) from Playa de Palma beach, and includes 55 tanks which are home to over 700 different species.

Mallorca a beautiful island that’s been tarnished with an 18s to 30s reputation but there is so much more to it. Some of the best and most popular things to do in Mallorca might involve a bit of travelling. Because we are covering Palma, Alcudia, Caves, Santa Ponsa Water Park and even trying a bit of the food.
First up though is Palma, the island’s capital and there is a lot of great things to say about it. It’s got art and architecture to rival Barcelona and cafes that give Paris a run for it’s money. That’s not even mentioning the bohemian market scene, the stunning harbour that’s dotted with restaurants specialising of course, fish.
There’s also Bellver Castle which is absolutely stunning. We realise this barely scratches the surface on Palma, but we 100% recommend it. Alcudia is a resort in the north of the island
that is equally touristy as is one for rubbing shoulders with the locals.
There is a great beach with cafes, bars and restaurants, not to mention a stunning harbour where you can get yourself a great cocktail, so I hear. On top of all of that is Alcudia old town. It’s about a bus journey or a cab ride inland and you will find winding alleyways, boutiques and cafes all inside medieval city walls, there’s even a bull ring.
Of course we can’t talk about Mallorca without
mentioning the beach. We don’t have time today to go into detail, but we do have a whole video on beaches in Mallorca, so give that a watch.
We recommend that you try some of the local
food. We managed to bag ourselves a vegetarian Mallorcan dish, it was a very welcome change. It was called tumbet, which is basically vegetables fried in oil and baked with a tomato sauce. So easy to replicate at home. Each of these different vegetables require a different cooking time. The aubergines in particular need to be cooked last because they require the highest heat with the oil in the pan and you must use olive oil and very fresh vegetables, apparently.
Western Water Park near Magaluf is about a 10 minute drive from Santa Ponsa and is kind of cool. Our fixer went on the rides with a go pro for us, because we decided not to get wet, so what a legend. But if you want to get really cool, both figuratively and literally.
You will have to go see Drach Caves, it is amazing. We highly recommend turning up early because the queue get’s huge. It’s barely 10am and already the queue is pretty big and this is a short queue. The tours go once an hour, every hour we were told it would be a little bit quieter at 10am but it’s already filling up.Our advice is to book in advance, when you do get in there you will be wandering through all these stalactites and stalagmites that are huge and mind blowing. Before being treated to a classical music concert on a subterranean lake. So, just seen the classical concert and it was amazing.The acoustics in here are phenomenal, the sound is so cool. And then the boat trip, we’re just heading to the exit now which is really sad.
