Things to Do Near Palma Mallorca

Portals is located just 10 km west of the island's capital city and only 16 km from Palma International Airport with daily flights from all the major European capitals. This area is divided into Puerto Portals, the exclusive yacht marina, and Portals Nous village with its maritime charm. Puerto Portals was established over 25 years ago and soon became the hot spot for local society, royalty and international celebrities and is now regarded as the island's St. Tropez and a place to be seen and to entertain.
The marina has 700 moorings for some of the most exclusive and sensational luxury yachts in the Mediterranean moored alongside a mouthwatering selection of the island's top restaurants, cafes, bars and exclusive designer boutiques. Puerto Portals has a year round calendar of activities, social events and top sailing regattas which attract international celebrity competitors and the Spanish Royal Family.
PLAYA PORTALS NOUS
One of our favourite beaches on Majorca is Playa Oratori de Portals, the local beach for Portals Nous and Puerto Portals.
There is 250 metres of fine golden sand to enjoy, with clear blue seas and an island in the middle of the bay to swim to should the mood take you. You can hire sun loungers and parasols, and there are showers and toilets. Life guards are on duty and there is some access for the disabled.
There's a small beach bar on the sand and an area set aside for volleyball. The best thing about this beach is the wonderful Roxy's Beach Bar, at the end of the beach on a small rocky platform. It's a casual, friendly place with great views of the bay and the Puerto Portals marina beyond. With chill-out tunes and cocktails (try their special house sangria) it has that Ibiza-esque feel which makes it very popular with Mallorca's international crowd. It's open from 10am to 10pm and serves light snacks throughout the day.
The location of the beach is second to none, with all the wonderful restaurants and bars in Puerto Portals a few minutes walk away (car parking is available at Portals, or in the town of Portal Nous above the beach). Access from Portals Nous is down a small lane (that leads to the church) and then down some steps.

Dans cette vidéo, je vous emmène avec moi sur la belle île de Mallorca ! On a fait une petite escapade en mai, de 3 jours. On a consacré le premier jour à explorer les jolies ruelles de Palma de Majorque, le deuxième jour on a rejoint 3 belles criques à Portals Nous et Puerto Portals et le dernier jour on a pris un bus pour Valldemossa et puis enfin le château Bellver ! Gros coup de coeur pour cette île aux paysages variés.
