We got up early this day so we could be at Islands of Adventure when it opened. We knew it was going to be very busy because the new Diagon Alley expansion was opening that day. I walked to the Pepper Market to grab some food for us to eat on the drive over. After I scored us some muffins and tea we left for Universal. We arrived in good time. We got there 10 minutes before opening. We entered IOA and head straight to Hogwarts to ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. The wait was not too bad. It was about a 40 minute wait. It was very hot waiting in the outside portions of the queue. That ride was awesome. One of my favourite attractions of all time I think. after our adventure with Ron, Harry and Hermoine we were pretty thirsty. We decided to grab a drink of Pumpkin juice. That stuff was great. It tasted like a liquid pumpkin pie. it was very refreshing. It was now time to check out the Jurassic Park area. I love JP so this was pretty cool for me. I took a shot at my best Jeff Goldblum/ Dr. Ian Malcolm laugh impression before we took a ride on the Jurassic Park River Adventure Ride. The drop was really big. We got very wet but it was a lot of fun. We were getting pretty hungry so we grabbed a hamburger, fries and milkshake for lunch at Burger Digs. Our next stop was Marvel Super Hero Island. We took a ride on The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man ride. That ride was very cool. Universal knows what they are doing with their motion simulators. We walked back to Hogsmeade at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and grabbed a Butterbeer and walked through Honeydukes candy shop. After that we hopped on the Hogwarts Express to take a ride over to Kings Cross (Universal Studios). Springfield was our next stop. I wanted to get a Krusty burger and a Duff Beer. The Simpsons area was pretty cool. I really love that show. So I ended up getting my Krusty burger, fries, duff and a Flaming Moe. Nicole got the heat lamp hotdog. We ate in the Moe's Bar seating area. We visited the Kwik-E-Mart and then headed out of the park as we were tired and hot. WE drove back to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and hit up the Dig Site pool for a swim. Nicole enjoyed a piña colada and I took a few rides down the Jaguar slide. We headed back to our room and went to bed nice and early as we were getting up the next morning to go back to Universal Studios.

Beautiful Beaches and Resorts of Turks & Caicos Day 1
Our first day experiencing the beautiful beaches and resorts of Turks and Caicos. We stayed at the Grace Bay Club right on the Grace Bay beach in Providenciales Turks and Caicos. After relaxing on the beach we decided to head to the Thursday Night Fish Fry. We were told by the locals that this was the thing to do on Thursday nights. Located just a short walk from the Grace Bay Club we caught some live music and ate some local food. We didn't;t stay out too late because we had traveled that day and were tired. Also me and Gil had to wake up early for scuba diving the next day.

USA Through Film Sizzle Video
American cities and the nation’s spectacularly striking landscapes have long played a starring role in its cinema, often emerging as independent and influential characters in a film. Seen through the eyes of 12 film directors, including Spike Lee (Malcolm X) and Andrew Davis (The Fugitive), we hear their personal stories in their favorite landscapes and cities. We celebrate the USA as film’s greatest backdrop and via our film directors we gain unique insights into these extraordinary places.

Sidney Sea Glass Beach & Pier || Vancouver Island
The town of Sidney is a picturesque seaside village with boardwalks, seafood cafes, and quaint shopping streets. Our favourite part, however, was the Sidney Sea Glass beach and the accompanying pier where fisherman hauled up cages filled with Dungeness Crab. It was a great way to spend a morning!
Join Marti from 'Down the Wrabbit Hole Travel' as she and her family explore the shoreline of Sidney, collecting sea glass and learning how to fish for crab. To read more about crabbing rules and regulations, what to expect at the Sea Glass beach visit Marti's blog at
