Deep Bay is an unincorporated area on the east coast of Vancouver Island, in British Columbia, Canada across Baynes Sound from Denman Island which has a government marina in a naturally protected harbour. It is situated on Highway 19A north of Qualicum Beach between Fanny Bay and Bowser. The June 23, 1946 Vancouver Island earthquake shocked the Strait of Georgia region, causing the bottom of Deep Bay to sink between 2.7 m and 25.6 m . Deep Bay is the home of the Deep Bay Marine Field Station.

Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park is a provincial park in Parksville, British Columbia, Canada. Located at the east end of the town, the 347-hectare park features a two-kilometre long stretch of sandy beach, a stand of old-growth Douglas fir trees and 174 vehicle-accessible and 25 walk-in camping spaces. Popular year-round, the park is easily accessible from Highway 19. The sandy beach is the main attraction. At low tide, it stretches nearly a kilometre out into the Strait of Georgia.

Englishman River Falls Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada. It is located west of Parksville and borders the town of Errington on Vancouver Island. Short hiking trails and bridges access both upper and lower falls. The campground has 103 sites and about half can be reserved. A First Nations legend mentions the skeleton of a white man found near the falls, hence its name.

Breathtaking waterfall with a perfect forested 1.5 mile hike in. Water levels in the summer are much lower, but in November, it is rocking!
