Go Ape Tree Top Junior Review & Guide
We went along to Go Ape's Tree Top Junior and were really impressed. It's a really good high ropes course for kids.
Firstly, the Tree Top Junior course is not as high as the main Tree Top Adventure...but it's no adventure playground either, and you are still up in the trees.
We feel that Go Ape got the right balance for the Tree Top Junior, with it being high but not too high.
The harness system is also a lot easier than the main Tree Top Adventure. Once your child is in their harness, they are clipped onto the safety line. They stay attached to the course until they have come back down to earth on the zip wire.
There is a minimum height restriction.
Our Little One was 5 when he did it, though the age range is generally between 6 and 13 years old - however, parents can come on with their kids too... in fact, many adults may prefer Tree Top Junior over the full Tree Top Adventure.
We've got a family guide to go ape over on our website:
The George Hotel, Chollerford, Northumberland
Views of hotel and garden taken in March 2013, when the weather was very changeable!
Highest Tree Top Adventure in UK
This is Part4 of Go Ape tree top adventure trip . We went to Go Ape while on our holiday in Scotland at Peebles, Aberfoyle. Amazing and stunning surroundings of Queen Elizabeth Forest Park as you fly 46 metres above the ground on two of Britain's longest zip wires. Video would take about 2 hours so decided to show you most interesting moments and made 5 separate videos of all 5 stages.
All videos filmed with GoPro 4 black edition .
Enjoy and thanks for watching

Hartburn (30th May 2017)
30th May 2017
Another place revisited. I was unable to edit the first video made of this place and thus decided to make a new video instead. It is still a great place to visit but it lost some of its magic from visiting it the first time. Sadly I had to scrub the original sound and put it to music in order to make the edit work. Not sure I got the right sound for the video but I am limited in choice to what is kindly made available by music artists.
Hartburn is not so well known but those who do, know it primarily for Hartburn Glebe. However, there is a bit more to this little hamlet than just the Glebe. The river when not in spate makes a nice location to spend a bit of time racing pine cones and skimming stones. Not shown in the video is an old pele tower and its current occupants happen to have an old working steam engine. Then of course is the church and its graveyard... I defy any parent not to be able to spin a few fairy tales connecting the glebe to the skull and crossbones that adorn many of the gravestones in this churchyard. All in all a great place to spend an afternoon with my daughter. Even if it has lost a little bit of its magic from the first visit.
