This part of coast that starts from the small coastal village of Peschici up to the bay of Manacore is characterized by a series of large and small bays, such as the Manaccora bay, the Turkish and the Gusmay bay and, also, the very beautiful and suggestive San Nicola bay. All of them have beautiful beaches with fine sand surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and pine trees. They are also easily accessible by land and most of them have very well organised lidos with all the necessary services for bathing.
In the Baia di Proscenio there is a 150 meters long beach with fine sand, clean sea and shallow waters. The beach is for the most part free to access and there are no services. This is one of the most picturesque beaches near Peschici with a beautiful beach and clean sea. There are, here, organised lidos although many part of the beach are free to access and use. To get to the beach you need to go through a camping site or use a small side road.
The beach inside the Baia di Zaiana, located between two ridges of white rocks, is a beautiful one with fine sand and clean blue sea. You can get here via a narrow road that goes down to the coast. The last downhill section must be done on foot from the parking. About half of the beach is served by lidos.
The beautiful beach inside the Manaccora bay is mostly covered by organized lidos. There are, however, some free spaces. Along the Manaccora bay, and within walking distance, there is the Grottone of Manaccora, one of the most important archaeological sites of the Bronze age. The small but beautiful beach of Calalunga, located between the Manaccora bay and that of Del Turco, has fine sand and clean sea with shallow waters. There are here services such as bars, restaurants and showers. Half of the beach is free to access and use.
In this bay there is a small beach made of white sand with shady areas near the reef. It is usually not crowded even in high season and ideal for families. To get here you have to walk for about 10 minutes on a small downhill path. The Gusmay bay, so called after a coastal tower located on the east promontory, has a very nice sandy beach and clear blue sea. There are here organised lidos and, within the Gusmay resort, various types of services including bars and restaurants.
