13. Valley of the Moon (Argentina)
The place known as the Valley of the Moon, for its apparent similarity to a landscape of another planet, is a protected area for the preservation and study of curious geological formations, fauna, flora and fossils.
12. Rock with Shadows (Utah of the USA)
The photo shows the awl-shaped rock with the shadow of the Bridger-Jack mountain under the early morning sun, and the Lavender Cayon valley with a purplish color. It is the Wingate sandstone formation that took shape 200 million years ago due to sedimentation, when there were sandy dunes several hundred feet high in the area. The formation is denominated as the mountainous zone so rugged never seen, where it is only seen rocks, rocky caves, slopes and low lands.
11. Roca Perce (Canada)
Perce, one of the largest arch rock formations in the world, previously had two arches, and on June 17, 1845, one of the two collapsed. Although there is only one arch remaining, 15 meters high, the stage is still one of the seven most famous places in Canada
10. Rocky Peaks (Australia)
The karst formation in the form of peaks is located in the Namberg National Park, in western Australia. The rocks are formed of limestone and its base, sandstone.
9. Stone fungi (Egypt)
The rocky mushrooms of Egypt is one of the most famous rock formations of this nature in the world, also called rocky foundation formed by severe erosion and weathering. There are usually stone fungi in deserts that have taken shape as a result of stronger weathering at the base of the rock.
8. Ayers Rock (Australia)
The Ayers Rock, a sandstone formation 470 kilometers from the city of Alice Springs, Australia, is 1,142 feet high from the sandy soil and six miles in perimeter. It is a symbol of Australia and one of the few huge rocky formations in the world. The Ayers Rock changes its color from red to brown as the shadow shifts in the sun from dawn to dusk. It is a place of pilgrimage of the local native inhabitants. There are still wall paintings with mysterious motifs at the foot of the rock. According to scholars, the Ayers was formed between 500 and 600 million years ago. It has a very smooth surface because it had been submerged in the sea. It looks like a monument if it is warned from afar.
7. The Arch of Baja California Sur (Mexico)
The Arc is located at the junction of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean, El Arco, as its name implies, is a geological formation with an opening in the middle. There are only two identical formations in the Pacific Ocean that dazzle for their originality and wonderful surroundings.
