Went to Maitland Gaol which opened in 1848 and closed in 1998. Wandered around doing an audio tour and thats the faint talking you can hear now and then. Would be scary at night time.

What are your breakfast options?We offer a Continental breakfast for just $12.50 or full Continental plus hot breakfast for $15.00 if pre-booked. If not pre-booked, it is $18.00 per person. What transport is available to get around?At the moment the best way to get around the area is by car. There are limited buses that go between Harrington and Taree and can get you to places like Old Bar beach. The lagoon in Harrington is about 1 hr walk away and the beach is a 7 minute drive away.We are currently looking at getting a mini bus but no dates are confirmed. What can I do nearby?We have bands every Friday and Saturday night and for lunch on Sundays.The property is surrounded by magnificent tropical gardens where you can take a leisurely walk, a dip in the riverfront sparkling pool, or 18 holes on the championship golf course. For the more adventurous, there is great water-skiing and fishing with the Manning River running through the property and of course, the famous beaches of the Manning region are only five minutes away. Do you have internet?We do have internet in the rooms, you just need to bring the computer and leads, the cost depends on how long you want it for. We are very reasonably priced. Do you provide parking?We do have parking on-site.
