Topanga Beach, Los Angeles California
Along Pacific Coast Highway between Malibu and Pacific Palisades lies Topanga Beach. This nice stretch of sand is a nice place to soak up some California sun, as well as a great spot to get some beautiful views of the Santa Monica Coast line.
We stopped here after a day in Malibu and enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the sandy beach along the Pacific Ocean.

Sold for a record $110 million dollars, Billionaire's Beach in Malibu is home to the most expensive property ever sold in Los Angeles.
Hard Rock Hotel co-founder Peter Morton sold the property in April to Oil & Gas Billionaire Michael Smith.
The city is home to Hollywood movie stars, the entertainment industry, affluent residents, and surfers of course, Malibu is a beach city in western Los Angeles County, California, situated about 30 miles (48 km) west of Downtown Los Angeles.
Malibu has been used as a location or setting for many films, television programs and music videos.
Most Malibu residents live within a few hundred yards of Pacific Coast Highway (State Route 1), which traverses the city, with some residents living up to a mile away from the beach up narrow canyons.
Nicknamed the 'Bu by surfers and locals, beaches along the Malibu coast include Surfrider Beach, Zuma Beach, Malibu Beach, Topanga Beach, Point Dume Beach, County Line, and Dan Blocker Beach.
Malibu is named for the Ventureño Chumash settlement of Humaliwo, which translates to “The Surf Sounds Loudly.”

In the frozen heart of winter, we ascended into a blizzard atop the famous mountain Mt. Baldy, only 45 minutes away from downtown Los Angeles. Being surrounded by snow and heavy winds was enough to reconsider if we were doing the right thing. We were treated to beautiful views, dazzling colors and sense of nature's mighty power that would knock you down a few pegs.

Ventura Highway in California
State Route 126 is a highway in Ventura and Los Angeles counties, California. The route runs from U.S. Route 101 in Ventura to Interstate 5 in Santa Clarita through the Santa Clara River Valley. The highway is an important connector highway in Ventura County, and serves as an alternate route into the Santa Clarita and San Fernando valleys, the High Desert of Antelope Valley, and Los Angeles.
Westinghouse Elevators at First Bank Building
This is a Westinghouse Select-O-Matic elevator at the First Bank Building in St Paul, MN. This is one of two buildings, one 30 story, and one 16 story. This is the smaller buildling. The elevators are from the 30's and 'updated' in the 70's. They are all being modernized in the next few months, so I thought i'd get them on video before its too late.
These serve 1-16, but certain floors are locked off or just don't work.
The REALLY cool thing about this building is the 17th floor skyway connecting the two together. Best view of the city!
