The Cascata delle Marmore is a man-made waterfall created by the ancient Romans. Its total height is 165 m , making it the tallest man-made waterfall in the world. Of its 3 sections, the top one is the tallest, at 83 m . It is located 7.7 km from Terni, a provincial capital of the Italian region of Umbria. Its source is a portion of the waters of the river Velino , after flowing through Piediluco lake near the community of Marmore. It pours into the valley below formed by the river Nera. Its flow is turned on and off according to a published schedule, to satisfy the needs of tourists and the power company alike. Tourists try to be there the moment the gates are opened to see the powerful rush of water.

Lake Bolsena of central Italy, is a lake of volcanic and tectonic origin. Roman historic records indicate activity of the Vulsini volcano occurred as recently as 104 BC; it has been dormant since then. The two islands in the southern part of the lake were formed by underwater eruptions following the collapse that created the depression. The lake is supplied entirely from the aquifer, rainfall and runoff, with one outlet at the southern end. A sewage treatment plant filters most of the raw sewage from the surrounding communities. Constructed in 1996, it features pipelines transporting the sewage from every major community around the lake to the treatment plant on the Marta River; that is, no effluents enter the lake. L'ultima puntata del 2017 ci porta alla scoperta di Argenta (Ferrara). Il Comune, conosciuto per il suo vasto territorio, ha avuto nella sua storia dei momenti felici ma anche dei momenti tristi, però è sempre ripartito con la grande forza di volontà dei suoi abitanti. Nel corso del programma visiteremo le chiese del borgo capoluogo, l'antica Pieve di San Giorgio, il Santuario della Beata Vergine della Celletta, l'Ecomuseo di Argenta con tutte le sue sezioni, e non mancheranno altre curiosità. Inoltre nella collegiata di San Nicolò approfondiremo la conoscenza di un martire come Don Giovanni Minzoni a cui la cittadinanza è molto devota. Poi percorreremo le Vie dei Presepi, gli itinerari delle Valli, ed in un agriturismo del luogo scopriremo i piatti tradizionali e le tante tipicità del territorio.
