Gargano is the spur of Italy's booth. Nestled along the Adriatic ocean with resort area is a popular vacation destination with Italians and travellers from around the world. There are many great things to see and do from eating delicious Italian food, touring the grottoes of vieste, exploring the Tremiti islands, strolling through the narrow streets of the many small villages and so much more.

Grotte Boat Tour: Gargano coastline, Puglia, Italy

Best watched in 1440HD for performance, 4K option for highest resolution.
The Grotte open-top boat tour, which departs from Rodi Garganico, is a pleasant way of admiring the stunning Adriatic coast of Italy. The trip heads south past the seaside towns of San Menaio, Peschici and Vieste. Along the way are several tabucchi (old wooden fishing platforms), medieval watch towers, panoramic clifftop towns, and of course the famous Gargano caves. After continuing down to the Baia di Campi, we stopped at a tranquil beach for lunch at the seaside restaurant before returning to Rodi at full speed. An unexpected highlight (3:40 mark) was watching a Canadair water-bomber in the distance scoop up it's load to fight a nearby wild brush fire.

Gli eremi del silenzio sono situati a Pulsano,sparsi ed adagiati in armonica perfezione con il paesaggio,tra le pareti rocciose a strapiombo dei valloni,in particolare vallone Campanile.Le montagne e i dolci declivi che fanno da sfondo pittoresco,coronano in modo eccellente questo sogno ad occhi aperti,che rende totalmente inerme lo spettatore quando caso mai stanco dell'habitat montano volge il suo sguardo in lontananza verso il golfo di Manfredonia ,mentre gli occhi,lo spirito ed il cuore appunto trovano infinito ristoro.
The hermitages of silence are located in Pulsano(Monte Sant'Angelo) hidden in the mountains and not easily visibles.These Hermitages were not only used by hermits,but probably they have older roots related to an old civilization(Dauni),because there are so many of them,but also numerous interesting caves along the mountains between Manfredonia and San Giovanni Rotondo.
The most visited hermitages are located in vallone Campanile,around the abbey Santa Maria di Pulsano where you can see from the top of the mountain some of them,or it's possible to visit the old church being before an old pagan temple and some hermitages very close to the abbey.The magic atmosphere, the sweet landscapes,and the amazing shape of the hills and mountains will really fill your soul with astonishment and silence and even if you feel tired of mountains you can see in the distance the sea of Manfredonia.
