Puente NuevoRonda The Puente Nuevo is the newest and largest of three bridges that span the 120-metre -deep chasm that carries the Guadalevín River and divides the city of Ronda, in southern Spain. The architect was José Martin de Aldehuela, who died in Málaga in 1802. The chief builder was Juan Antonio Díaz Machuca. The construction of the newest bridge was started in 1759 and took 34 years to build. There is a chamber above the central arch that was used for a variety of purposes, including as a prison. During the 1936-1939 civil war both sides allegedly used the prison as a torture chamber for captured opponents, killing some by throwing them from the windows to the rocks at the bottom of the El Tajo gorge. The park is an area of marshes, shallow streams, and sand dunes in Las Marismas, the delta where the Guadalquivir River flows into the Atlantic Ocean. It was established as a nature reserve in 1969 when the World Wildlife Fund joined with the Spanish government and purchased a section of marshes to protect it. The eco-system has been under constant threat by the draining of the marshes, the use of river water to boost agricultural production by irrigating land along the coast, water pollution by upriver mining, and the expansion of tourist facilities. Hola amigos. Hoy vamos a disfrutar de Sevilla, una de las ciudades más hermosas y maravillosas del mundo, sin duda. Cuando visitamos Sevilla me volví loco. ¡Todo me gustaba! Asi que realicé muchísimas fotografías. En este corto vídeo de tan sólo 15:37, tendréis la oportunidad de daros un fantástico paseo por algunos de los lugares más emblemáticos de esta gran urbe andaluza.
La Plaza de España. La Torre de Oro. El río Guadalquivir y el bello paseo de sus orillas, los puentes de la ciudad, la Giralda, La catedral.... Hay tanto qué ver y disfrutar en Sevilla, que estas imágenes son sólo un breve, pero intenso, paseo por sus espectaculares paisajes.
