In Taipei Main Station Underground Mall, officially known as Taipei City Mall, you can find 1-mile of Taipei shopping places. Extending from Taipei Main Station to Beimen station at 0.5 miles (850m) so if you take a lap through the mall it’s 1-mile (1700m) of cheap shopping in Taipei.

Location and Hours
Location: 100, Taipei City, Zhongzheng District, Section 1, Shimin Boulevard, 100號
Hours: 11AM-9:30PM Daily
Taipei Main Station Underground Mall runs from Taipei Main Station to Beimen Station. It’s accessible from the street level along Zhengzhou Road (26 entrances/exits), Taipei Main Station, Beimen Station and the airport MRT station.
You can access this shopping area in Taipei as early as 8am. The lights aren’t actually on until 9am and most stores open at 11am. Official closing hours are at 9:30pm, but most shops begin to shut down at 8pm.
How do I know this? Because you can find me and a few elderly people walking around this Taipei shopping mall for exercise in the mornings.
If you’re looking to get to Taipei City Mall with a little less chaos, you can enter from the Beimen station side. Just get to the Beimen station and from there follow signs for the Airport MRT. Along the way on your left side, you’ll see several entrances to Taipei City Mall
Getting To The Taipei Underground Mall From Taipei Main Station Terminal
Head underground towards the Taipei High Speed Rail (THSR). Along the way you’ll see a sign for “Taipei City Mall” and follow the signs. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the terminal level.
Don’t be confused by the other malls through.
Getting To The Taipei Station Underground Mall From Beimen Station
The underground mall in Taipei is so big that it spans the length of a subway stop (850 meters). To experience the best of Taiwan shopping, start at Beimen station. It’s less crowded and it will be easier to find the underground mall Taipei.

Within Beimen station, just follow signs for the airport MRT. After you make your first right turn from the MRT platform, there will be an entrance to “Taipei City Mall” on your left.

Whether you are traveling to Taiwan or planning to live in Taiwan temporary, the culture shock is inevitable. No matter which country you are traveling from, the culture, the people and sometimes the landscapes are just completely different. Even me who spent most of my childhood and teenage life here in Taiwan, i still need to re-adjust myself to make myself comfortable here in my hometown Taipei. i hope you find this video helpful in terms of helping you get an idea or the big picture of what you can expect here in Taiwan.

去年米弟在台灣三個月的時候 我們假日無聊就會隨便在google map上亂點，找地方去。
Last year Schmidi came to Taiwan to visit me and stayed for 3 months. When we didn't have plans for the weekend, we just went on google map and randomly picked whatever we saw on it and go!
Surprisingly, it's never let us down! Guess when you have a good travel buddy you don't need much to be happy!

Although many Taiwanese do not really believe in the existence of gods, that it's superstitious, they still go to temples to worship. Most have the attitude that it is better to hope for the best, but prepare for the worst, and their activities to pay respect to the gods are very entertaining!

Taipei hotel: Fu Chang Hotel, Taipei, Taiwan
Fu Chang hotel an awesome place to stay in the heart of Taipei city. The hotel is situated in the Wanhua district of Taipei city. If you look from the outside the hotel looks like very old, however, it gives a great feeling as soon as you enter in the centrally-airconditioned hotel. The service is very nice and the people are very humble and cooperative. This was our second stay in the hotel and the experience was mind blowing. This time we stayed on the fifth floor.
The hotel is easily accessible by Taipei metro. It is near to the famous Ximending shopping street. The Ximending area has so much in it like, movie theaters, eateries, fashion clothes, electronic shops, pizza houses, tea shops, ice-cream parlors and a lot more than this.
How to reach there: Hotel is very near to Taipei Main Station. The Taipie Main Station is the hub of TRA train and THSR also has stop here. Catch Taipei metro and reach Ximen station. Take exit # 6. Walk through the market along Hanzhong street, take left turn along Emei street on the intersection. Walk straight along Emei street till Taipei cinema park. Take right turn on the cinema park intersection along Kangding road and you will find Fu Chang hotel on your left side, just opposite the temple.
