This was a reasonably good show, but unfortunately many attendees found that it didn't compare to recent dates on this tour, or to Morrissey's previous visit in St. Louis. Morrissey was in a very playful mood and gave a very passionate performance, but he was not as communicative with the audience and didn't touch as many hands as he usually does, so this left some fans slightly disappointed. It must be said that the crowd itself was rather quiet and Morrissey might not have felt like interacting with it as much as usual.
The setlist was resequenced and in the process One Day Goodbye Will Be Farewell was replaced with Best Friend On The Payroll.
Before going into set opener This Charming Man Morrissey greeted the audience by shouting something undecipherable. After the song a fan handed him a 7 or cd with a felt pen in the hopes that he would sign it. But Morrissey just gave the fan a look and made grunting noises as tossed the pen back at the fan, as if a little annoyed. He then shouted Bollocks as the band launched into Billy Budd. Besides previously heard changes in that song, he extended a line to everyone's laughing, no they're not! and sang Thank Christ! they turned me down. After How Soon Is Now? he told the audience The morgue yawns for you... It has been established since then that Morrissey was quoting Oscar Wilde who, in a 1897 letter to Frank Harris, had written: I have pleasures and passions, but the joy of life is gone. I am going under, the morgue yawns for me.
Following When I Last Spoke To Carol Morrissey simply said full of meaning... Then over the opening bars of How Can Anybody Possibly Know How I Feel? he asked Are you uncomfortable? Good! He extended a line in the latter number to As sick as I am, I would never be you, yes you! After the song he took a Raymonde record that was handed to him by a fan and asked Is this a gift? A gift? I do have it you know? Thank you... (flips the record over to read the fan's note) Bla-bla-bla-bla-bla, bla-bla-bla-bla-bla (smiles to the fan)... Then over the opening of I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris he asked What happened? After that song he proceeded with the introduction of the band: Would you - if you're not too busy would you please say hello to Boz Boorer... and to Solomon Walker... and to Matt Walker... and to Jesse Tobias... and to Kristopher Pooley... and as for me, I do not seek applause, I just seek err, indulgence...
Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others had been played live for the first time without the Smiths the night before. So for this second live performance of the song Morrissey took its additional live-only verse further by singing On the shop floor there's a calendar, and it's pointing out to you, something you never knew... In live performances of Something Is Squeezing My Skull at the time he usually sang somebody peel it back and bite me, but on this date he took this to for God's sake! peel it back and bite me After Seasick, Yet Still Docked he said I don't drink Budweiser beer... Do you? (crowd boos and says no!) Yesss!...
After The World Is Full Of Crashing Bores Morrissey announced Of course, we're very privileged to be in the hometown of the great Kristeen Young (crowd cheers)... However she isn't here, she is (someone screams, Morrissey jokes) - oh she is here... After Best Friend On The Payroll he said Thank you for your ears and your remarkable taste... so rare, so rare... At the very end of I Keep Mine Hidden he shouted Look! There's one over there! instead of singing the usual words use your loaf. At this point into the show some girls at the front handed Morrissey a hand drawn picture of him. He took it and pointed back and forth at it and himself, mouthing For me? Not really, but thank you... La-la-la, very nice...
C-SPAN Cities Tour - St. Louis: Historic Eads Bridge
Hear about James Eads and the Historic Eads Bridge, a combined road and railway bridge over the Mississippi River at St. Louis, connecting St. Louis and East St. Louis, Illinois. Eads, a self-taught engineer, completed the bridge in 1874. The Eads Bridge was the longest arch bridge in the world, and its ribbed steel arch spans were considered daring, as was the use of steel as a primary structural material: it was the first such use of true steel in a major bridge project. David Lobbig, Curator of Environmental Life at the Missouri History Museum, will tell us about the bridge and its self-made builder, James Eads.
St. Louis #CraftBeer Favorites (pt1) - Urban Chestnut Brewing Schnickelfritz Bavarian Weissbier
After some unexpected delays, the I Love Beer Show finally kicked off their Season 3 #CraftBeer Show on November 13th, 2015 at Jimmy and Myrna's Cantina in Las Vegas featuring some interesting craft beers from two of the best breweries located in St. Louis in the Show Me state of Missouri.
The Friday the 13th Show showcased craft beers from both Urban Chestnut Brewing and Schlafly Brewing, with an interesting selection from Toronto Pilsner brewer SteamWhistle Brewing as well. (and of course the usual show surprises). Friday the 13th was anything but scary - In fact, it turned a good day to drink craft beer for sure!
When friends of the show visited St. Louis to go to a Cardinals playoff game, they asked us what the best craft brewery to go to was, so we did some research, contacted the brewers and they generously sent us their selections to feature on the show. The result was a number of great tasting sessionalble beers of all shapes and styles that any baseball fan (or craft beer fan for that matter) can enjoy at the game! In this video, we showcased Urban Chestnut's Schnickelfritz Bavarian Weissbier.
This was basically a Hefeweizen style beer, which came in at a very sessionable 4.8% alcohol and poured a golden color with moderate carbonation. The nosefeel of banana, nutmeg, and clove really stood out along with a light lemony citrus note. We were impressed with the taste of sourdough and herbal hops on the backend, making this a medium bodied but crisp great drinking beer. Overall, an excellent selection that is very strong on the banana and clove with a light smooth taste – drink this!

Budweiser Factory Tour St Louis [Part 2]
Watch Part 1 of the Budweiser Tour in Saint Louis, MO:
This video is only a small part of one of several different tours at the Budweiser Brewery Experience in St. Louis, MO. Since its founding in 1852, Anheuser-Busch has honored its historic brewing methods, maintaining the tradition of brewing the finest beers, one batch at a time.
Nestled in the historic Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis, Anheuser-Busch's largest and oldest brewery site was selected based on its access to the Mississippi River, the large presence of German immigrants in the 1800’s, and the natural cave formations that were used to store beer prior to artificial refrigeration.
Regardless of the experience you choose, as you walk through the halls of the historic St. Louis brewery, you are transported in time.
You will realize the vision that became one of the largest and oldest breweries in the nation. From the history-rich architecture - including three National Historic Landmarks - to cutting-edge brewing technology, you will witness first-hand the heritage and timeless tradition Anheuser-Busch employs to brew beer.
The St. Louis Brewery boasts an array of signature tours and attractions. With celebrated venues like The Biergarten and signature experiences like the Day Fresh and Beermaster Tours, there’s always something new to discover when you visit.

St. Louis #CraftBeer Favorites (pt5) - Schlafly Brewing Pale Ale

The result was a number of great tasting sessionalble beers of all shapes and styles that any baseball fan (or craft beer fan for that matter) can enjoy at the game! In this video, we showcased Schlafly Brewing’s Pale Ale.
Schlafly’s 4.4% English Pale Ale is a smooth, balanced, session beer which poured a honey colored body with a frosty, white, vanilla head leaving hills of lace as it receded and smelled more like an amber than a pale ale. The roasted malts came out front in a big way with some faint orange slice hints, but not much hop aroma. We tasted lots of fruits in this one, combined with bready malts and a yeasty aftertaste resulting in a delicious craft beer selection that you can probably pair with anything. The beer derives its mildly spiced flavor and aroma from East Kent Goldings hops and the London Ale yeast is responsible for the satisfying fruitiness. No one can go wrong drinking this one!

US President's & Congress's Treason EXPOSED by Retired US Army Ranger Command Sgt Major Dan Page
US President's & Congress's Treason EXPOSED by Retired US Army Ranger Command Sgt Major Dan Page during a April 23, 2104 speech in St Louis, Missouri.
Having recently retired from the Army, Mr. Page now serves as a peace officer in St Louis County, Mo. During his one hour speech, he systematically exposes the methodical treasonist plan for the destruction of the United States. Further, he reveals how the United State of America is being occupied by foreign troops, paramilitary law enforcement and paramilitary private mercenary contractors, all intent to carry out orders to end America's sovereign nation status and that of every county & state.
Sgt. Major Page declares that the U.S. government will use a series of controlled events to usher in MARTIAL LAW, abolish the U.S. Constitution, and replace our constitutional with a new one that has been in the drafting for many years. Each of which act, if true, is treason.
Is this what we are seeing unfold in St. Louis and Ferguson, Missouri with its FERGUSON INFERNO martial law incinerating the U.S. Constitution? How about the martial law that was executed after the Boston Bombing?
He states unequivocally that U.S and foreign military personal, local law enforcement and mercenary contractors will be coming to KILL YOU because you believe in the U.S. Constitution, because you believe in the right to keep & bear arms under the 2nd Amendment, because you believe in Jesus Christ and because you believe God grants us our rights, not any government or human being. He details three phases a society passes through as these tyrannical plans are rolled out:
1. Persecution — If you take a stand on anything [political, social, religious, ect.] you are a terrorist and you are singled out, ridiculed and labeled a domestic terrorist.
2. Prosecution — Enemies of the state are then financially attacked, beaten and thrown in prison.
3. Execution — Obama is allowing hundreds of thousands of beheading happy muslims every week to pour into the US.
Page describes America's war on families be stating; “They’re going to takes your kids from you and put them indoctrination camps.” These camps he's referencing are well planed for decades ago under U.S. plans designed and authorised under REX 84 and OPERATION GARDEN PLOT.
Given the global focus being placed on a boiling conflict brewing between the U.S. and Russia, Page said that the U.S. is bringing in 1000 RUSSIAN SPETSNAZ a week” and that the apparent False Flag Operation in the Ukraine was a controlled diversionary “ruse.” He put forth shocking numbers of foreign military on to say that there were 18,000 Spetsnaz at Fort Leonard Wood right now and Fort Carson Colorado has 25,000. The Russian GRU Spetsnaz are the elite military formations under the control of the Russian military intelligence service GRU.
U.S. Army Ranger/Green Beret Command Sgt. Major Dan Page, Ret., also reveals that he was in a meeting just a month prior to 9/11, wherein the head of U.S. Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR) flew into Bosnia for a presentation to a large group of special forces operators and commanders. Pages says that it was in this meeting where the head of SOCEUR revealed “THERE'S ABOUT TO BE AN ATTACK ON THE UNITED STATES,” while displaying on a screen the pictures and names of all of the people who were to be involved in the upcoming attack.
He concludes that it is not too late to stop the destruction of America peacefully by exposing the elected president's and congress's treason against America and every individual State, but warned that if American citizens don't make the right decisions in the BALLOT BOX, they will end up in a BULLET BOX, [coffin].
Page also holds up a copy of the USA Today newspaper and quotes a full page story on how U.S. Supreme Court Former justice Stevens wants to change Constitution of the United States of America. The published article quotes Former Supreme Court justice John Paul Stevens, and his most recent book, as wanting to bring about six (6) major changes to the Constitution, with the first being;
(1) Changing the Second Amendment to make clear that only a state's militia, not its citizens, has a constitutional right to bear arms.
This appears to support a fascist and totalitarian total gun ban and disarming of every U.S. citizen, just as Stalin, Hitler, Mao and Mussolini did before slaughtering their citizens. Throughout the annals of history, is written from the blood of disarmed and defenseless citizenry, the horrors and atrocities of tyrannical and menical mass murder, genocide, extinction and wholesale crimes against humanity.
Given these revelations, the entire humanity of earth may soon be praying; May God have mercy on us all....

Budweiser USA America Is In Your Hands Shopper 2018
Budweiser (/bʌdˈwaɪzər/) is an American-style pale lager produced by Anheuser-Busch, currently part of the transnational corporation Anheuser-Busch InBev. Introduced in 1876 by Carl Conrad & Co. of St. Louis, Missouri, it has grown to become one of the largest selling beers in the United States, and is available in over 80 markets worldwide—though, due to a trademark dispute, not necessarily under the Budweiser name. It is made with up to 30% rice in addition to hops and barley malt. Produced in various breweries around the world, Budweiser is a filtered beer available in draft and packaged forms.
Anheuser–Busch has been involved in a trademark dispute with European beer companies, in particular the Budweiser Budvar Brewery of České Budějovice, Czech Republic, over the trademark rights to the name Budweiser. Beer has been brewed in České Budějovice (known as Budweis in German) since it was founded by King Ottokar II of Bohemia in 1245. The name Budweiser is a derivative adjective, meaning of Budweis. In 1876, Adolphus Busch and his friend Carl Conrad, a liquor importer, developed a Bohemian-style lager in the United States, inspired after a trip to the region.
In the European Union, excluding the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Sweden, Finland and Spain, the American beer is marketed as Bud, as the Budweiser trademark name is owned solely by the Czech beer maker, Budweiser Budvar.
In 2008, Anheuser-Busch had a market share in the United States of 50.9% for all beers sold. Budweiser brands account for about half of Anheuser-Busch's sales volume, a figure which has been steadily declining at 1½-2% per year.

St. Louis #CraftBeer Favorites (pt6) - Schlafly Brewing Kölsch

The result was a number of great tasting sessionalble beers of all shapes and styles that any baseball fan (or craft beer fan for that matter) can enjoy at the game! In this video, we showcased Schlafly Brewing’s Kölsch.
Kölsch is a classic 4.8% alcohol golden ale that uses a centuries old yeast strain sourced from a famous Kölsch brewer in Köln, Germany. Fermented at 62 degrees, then cold conditioned, it has the delicate fruity aroma of an ale with the crisp, clean finish of a lager. It is brewed with lightly roasted malt and 100% German Noble Hops: Perle for bitterness and Hallertau Traditional for flavor and aroma. We got aromas of lemon/lime and definitely noticed the light bread and grassy floral bittering hops. The light body and sparkling carbonation makes for exactly what you’d like to taste in a Kölsch. It’s no wonder Schlafly won the Gold Medal for Best German-style Kölsch in the World Beer Cup in 2010. If you’re looking for a great take on this style of beer, Schlafly’s nailed it with this one!

Left Casino Queen RV Park after 7 nights in St. Louis, MO. It was one hot strip of Asphalt! Thank God for our 45,000 BTU’s of A/C capacity.
This RV Park is a GREAT central location for all the things to see,…….we were within 10 minutes of most things to do, NEVER more than 20 minutes.
We saved our St. Louis Botanical Garden Tour, and our St. Louis 27 mile bike ride video along the Mississippi river for later.
Make sure you stop back for those! The bike ride is along the ST. Louis levee walls, and it is interesting.
This video is a collection of visits. We go to the St. Louis Arch, Transportation Museum,Budweiser Factory Tour, Economy Museum and finish up with the St. Louis Blues Museum.
If time is limited, I would prioritize them in the order I have listed them. The Gateway Arch is this most impressive and packed with information, and the Blues Museum was the least impressive and interesting.
