Alaskan ATV Adventure Part 1
My adventure of a lifetime in Alaska with my Dad, Brother, and Uncle Ryan had awesome adventures from going the the Wildlife conservation to fishing for halibut 900ft under the water and even have a party with Alaskans. It was one of the best adventure I have ever had. Thanks to Make-A-Wish we got to do these amazing things in Alaska!
Intense ATV adventures in Alaska
We made this video with pictures and GoPro footage of our intense adventures in Alasks where we have crossed deep creeks, climbed mountains, fought through brush, and captured a few pictures of the local wildlife. We encourage anyone that is seeking real adventure away from it all to come to Alaska. Enjoy!

Moose meadows Alaska
A couple buddies and I went on a wheeling/camping trip in our jeeps through moose meadows on bald mountain in wasilla, AK. Thank god for 1BADJK having the winch and Ag tires or it would have been a disaster. My 05 wrangler with 37 IROKs had to be towed through a lot of the trail. All together there 4 jeeps, a silver JK wrangler, my TJ wrangler, and 2 Cherokees (1with 32 tires/2 lift and 1 on cut 38 boggers)

Rving Alaska: Oceanfront camping on the Kenai Penisula in Ninilchik
We leave Seward behind and head out the Sterling Highway to visit the other side of the Kenai Peninsula where we find beachside camping on the Cook Inlet at the Deep Creek State Recreation Area in Ninilchik, Alaska. Our first day at camp was spent exploring the beach area on our Polaris Quad and we end up taking you for a ride 5 miles down the beach where we find a waterfall and a tractor trailer pulling boats out of the ocean.

Alaska 2018 - 13 [free camping in Healy, Alaska]
Otto Lake BLM (See more photos and info in our blog post: NOTE: we've heard from people visiting Alaska in summer of 2019 that this site is marked private land and you can no longer camp there.
We moved from Walmart in Fairbanks to some BLM land next to Otto Lake about 10 miles from the Denali visitors center. This is free camping with no services.
There are 3-4 sites here depending on how you slice it up. It’s right off highway 3 and Otto Lake Rd. The dirt road a bit bumpy getting in but we didn’t have any problems. It does get pretty sloppy when it rains but it drains away pretty quickly. And we didn’t get stuck but our jacks did shift a bit in the mud.
Wildlife tally: 1 moose, 1 bunny
Using a tiny house as a camper?
When we got to this camping spot, one site was taken up by a tiny house. We were wondering if he was planning on hanging out here for the season but he did leave after a few days.
Our other neighbors were @meantforadventure so check them out for more RVing in Alaska photos.
49th State Brewpub
FLOW (Fairbanks Ladies of Wrestling - were going to be in Healy right down the road so we made plans to go. Out of curiosity, I looked up the venue to check the menu. And we were pleasantly surprised! They have a vegan burger and a vegan chicken cheesesteak on the menu. And it was awesome! The beer was good too.
The band that opened for FLOW was Girl Haggard and they rocked it. We got to see a few wrestlers we hadn’t seen before like Barbie and Mary Jane. Barbie’s legs and arms weren’t articulated so she need help to get up off the mat. And Mary Jane toked up numerous times during her match. So good.
There’s a campground right next to 49th State Brewery. They have lots of events at the brewery so if you like to go to sleep before 2am, you might want to reconsider staying there or at least make sure your site is at the opposite end of the campground.
Denali National Park
On a rainy Saturday, we headed down the road to the Denali park entrance near us to mail some postcards and check out the visitors center. We picked up some literature which has us even more overwhelmed with everything to do in the park.
Three Bears Market
It was time to restock on some food, so we went to the local market. They have a surprisingly good selection. Some prices are outrageous and some aren’t bad at all. You’ll see a selection of some of these things we use regularly and the prices.
Smoke on the horizon
While working Monday, I saw a big plume of smoke over towards the highway. I walked outside to check it out and it exploded while I was recording video. We went to check it out and make sure it wasn’t a forest fire coming for us and it turned out to be a garbage truck.
Moose Sighting
We talked to a local who said there were a few moose that live in the neighborhood. And then we saw one while on our walk! She was right across the street from us!
