B-Roll Package. Heavy equipment from the Tennessee Army National arrives
at the railhead at Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow in Yermo, California.
It is off loaded and prepared for movement to the National Training Center
at Ft. Irwin by Soldiers from the 230th Sustainment Brigade. This is in support of the 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment who is training at NTC in preparation for an upcoming deployment Europe next year.

Tennessee (Nashville and Chattanooga) - Vlog 16
It’s Throwback Thursday and we have, well, a throwback travel vlog of course! (yeah I know we do Flashback Friday, but between you and me…they’re the same thing…shhh)
This week we’re going back to last summer when we went on a spontaneous road trip to Nashville, Tennessee! We literally picked to go there the day before, packed and got the hell out of New York.
It was the first time I drove for awhile and all night, so it really took a toll on us by the time we got there. Slept the whole first day. Haha
So let’s see…we went to a ton of places! In Nashville we went to the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum, Parthenon Replica (where they filmed a scene from Percy Jackson), Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art and the Lane Motor Museum.
Then we went to the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg. They have their own little county there that is actually a dry county, which means that the whisky isn’t available for consumption in any of the stores or food places within it. (They have whisky-flavored desserts though!)
We took a long drive down to the border of Alabama and Georgia to check out Lookout Mountain and Ruby Falls in Chattanooga. (Fun fact: it’s said or was said that you can see 7 states from there – Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama) There’s also some Civil War history behind the mountain, but you can look that up if you’re interested. Anyways, in order to see Ruby Falls you have to go 1,120 feet underground in an elevator…that’s as high as the Empire State Building! But it’s pretty cool there’s a 145-foot waterfall underground. Crazy.
Another attraction on Lookout Mountain is the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway, one of the steepest passenger railways in the world! I’m completely terrified of heights but I love trains so I couldn’t help but go. But holy crap is it steep and on a cable…
Lastly, we went to Cumberland Caverns in McMinnville where the Confederates stored and made their ammo. There’s also an underground mountain inside it that you can climb! Also there’s a chandelier from the Lowes Metropolitan Theater in Brooklyn from the 1920s. They call it “The Grand Lady of the Volcano Room.” You can also take different tours where you can get down and dirty climbing through the caverns.
Geez I wrote so much! Well goes to show that Tennessee was AWESOME! :)

Over the last few years climbing frames have become a common feature in many large gardens. Timber frames that blend in with the garden make them appear as a natural part of the surroundings. Many climbing frames are bought in kit form and have a pre-set design that means that there are limitations to it's size, shape and features (such as swings and slides).
The ability to create a play center that exactly meets the needs of children is becoming a clear requirement. To be able to change and expand the design of the play center as the number, size and age of the children using it changes, is something many parents now desire. Especially when the other option is to replace it with an entirely new one.
This is where the idea of modular play centers is coming to the fore! They are aimed at stimulating kid's imaginations as well as giving them a lot of fun sliding, climbing and swinging.
When traditional play centers just don't provide the flexibility that the parents of today need, a modular play center may just be the way forward.

Democrat Phil Bredesen votes in Tennessee
(6 Nov 2018) Democrat Phil Bredesen, running for the US Senate, cast his vote on Election Day in Nashville, Tennessee, and talked to reporters about Taylor Swift and the youth vote.
Former Tennessee governor Bredesen greeted campaign workers outside and posed for a picture with a father and his daughter. Bredesen is running against US Representative Marsha Blackburn, a Republican, but urged voters not to think just about the party affiliations when they voted.
Bredesen said he knew he had an uphill climb in a state that US President Donald Trump won by 26 percentage points.
He said he was glad to see that turnout in Tennessee was high, especially for youth voters and attributed some of that to pop star Taylor Swift, who has endorsed him and encouraged her fans to vote in recent weeks.

Camera angles aren't the best relative to sunlight, as the planes were backlit for the most part, and the sun was directly overhead for this mid-afternoon performance. I had to make some brightness and color corrections for practically all the footage.
Unfortunately, one jet was scrapped during the engine warm-up, and yet another experienced mechanical difficulties toward the end of the show. As a result, we likely witnessed an altered flight plan and show compared to the Saturday performance.

It's not between a Democrat and a Republican, Bredesen said. It's between two very different visions of what the job the about. I am very much into this idea that we need to start making some compromises. Moving some things forward and get some things done and stop the hard-nosed partisanship.

This has always been a lift. It's a very red state, but I really feel like it's coming together and I just think are in good shape today.

I think the youth vote is really critical for my victory, Bredesen said. They are a new group of voters. They have historically not voted in sort of large numbers. They are clearly out in large numbers in this election. I think I have an awful lot of support on the college campuses and among some of these youth voters. And obviously what Taylor Swift did is very helpful in that regard. So I think they are going to be really important in this election. And assuming I am victorious tonight, I certainly plan to make a special thanks out to the young people who have come out.

The 10 WORST STATES for JOBS
Are ya out of work? If so, you’re in the minority. If you’ve been paying attention, only 3 and a half percent of the population is unemployed right now. That’s the lowest it’s been in the last 50 years.
And there’s plenty of jobs out there, too. Lots of companies can’t hire enough people, especially in blue collar industries like trucking and construction, in technology, and in high level health care.
If you don’t have a job now and you’re looking, it shouldn’t be long until you get one. If you’ve been out of work for a long time, you’re likely lazy. Except for very special circumstances.
So, the economy is booming and companies can’t grow fast enough to keep up with demand. But of course, there’s gonna be some states where the job scene is the worst. Not always terrible, but someone has to finish last right?
10. Oregon
In Oregon, the unemployment rate is currently 4.1% the 12th highest in the nation. But, we factored in more than just the current snapshot of the job situation to cast a wider picture.
We also measured job growth over the past year. There are 12 states with negative job growth right now, and three where job growth is zero. Oregon is one of those three.
So, a 4.1% unemployment rate and zero job growth rate means Oregon’s job quotient is 4.1.
9. West Virginia
No surprises that West Virginia is towards the bottom when it comes to jobs. The Mountain State’s 4.7% unemployment rate is the 5th worst in the country, but West Virginia’s job growth has been steady, growing at .4%, which is actually the 6th highest rate in the US. That gives West Virginia a job quotient score of 4.3.
Now lets compare that to our best state for jobs in the USA, Colorado, which has a 2.7% unemployment rate and a .8% job growth rate for a job quotient of 1.9. The state with the lowest unemployment rate is Vermont, where only 2.2% of the population is out of work.
New Jersey and Alabama are tied with Colorado with the best current job growth rates.
8. Kentucky
Here in Kentucky, the unemployment rate is 4.4% which is the 7th highest rate, and the job growth is -.1%.
-.1% means that there have been a loss of about 18,000 jobs over the last year here.
Like other states, Kentucky’s job gains came in health care, education and manufacturing, and the state saw job losses in mining and logging, as the US is slowly moving towards cleaner energy like natural gas.
7. North Carolina
North Carolina has a 4.1% unemployment rate, which is the 12th worst, but the Tar Heel state saw it’s job sector shrink by .4%, which is the 3rd highest rate of job losses in the nation.
6. Michigan
In Michigan, the numbers are very similar to those in North Carolina. A 4.2% unemployment rate and a -.3% job growth rate, resulting in a job quotient of 4.5.
Michigan has lost 6,000 jobs in manufacturing. Some people have said that a trade war with China is part of the problem. Other states like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin have seen similar dips in manufacturing jobs.
Of course, the auto industry is a big deal in Michigan. But slowing sales and rising inventories are leading to slight production cuts and job losses. Basically, people are buying less cars lately.
5. Washington
In Washington, the unemployment rate is 4.6%, the 6th highest in the nation. And the job rate has shrunk by -.2% in the last year.
The state of Washington saw a net loss of 1,600 jobs in the last reporting month. The largest job growth was in retail, technology and construction. Manufacturing jobs are down here, too, but unlike other states we’ve seen, Washington lost jobs in education and healthcare.
4. Arizona
Here in the state of Arizona, the unemployment rate is really low at 4.9%, but the job growth rate is climbing. Over the last year, Arizona did add a net 27,000 jobs, which is about average.
3. New Mexico
Here in New Mexico, the unemployment rate is tied with Arizona at 4.9%. However, unlike Arizona, which is making strides, New Mexico’s job growth rate was essentially zero.
So that means 1 in 20 people is out of work, and will likely remain out of work for the foreseeable future.
2. Alaska
Next up is Alaska, which has the nation’s highest unemployment rate at 6.2%. That’s almost twice the national average.
There are a few reasons for Alaska’s high jobless rate. Alaska has a lot of seasonal jobs that only happen in the summer. This includes tourism, commercial fishing, and firefighting.
However, on the bright side, the job growth rate here is .3%, so that’s promising.
1. Mississippi
Here in the Magnolia State, the unemployment rate is a little better than Alaska, at 5.5%. However, Mississippi has seen a -.5% job decline in the last year, the worst in the nation.
