ENGLISH (para ESPAÑOL mira abajo): We videotaped Antonio el Pipa dancing a flamenco solo called cantinas when I was in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, this past fall. Here is a tiny taste from his 12 minute dance that will be in our documentary Flamenco: the Land Is Still Fertile. This is a rough edit. It needs something called color correction, and in addition, I may decide to cut back and forth differently from the way I have it now, but thought it might be fun to watch, so ENJOY.

Dinner in an Old Mill (Molino de la Romera) Carmona, Spain
Arranging meals for a group tour is a major challenge for operators ; particularly in Spain where dining doesn't usually begin until 8:30p. Molino de la Romera consented to serve at 7:30p. Don't take my opinion about a so-so meal as gospel. I'm sure other selections here would be to my taste.
Great ambiance though.

Zahara de la Sierra - one of the many Hidden Gems in Andalusia
This mountain village, declared a Historical Site, is situated in the foothills of the Sierra del Jaral, in the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. Modern-day Zahara was founded during the period of Moorish occupation. From that period, the town still preserves, apart from the typical labyrinthine Al-Andalus urban design, its 13th century castle with restored keep and the remains of the medieval village with stretches of walls. Its hillside position imbues the village with an unusual urban appearance. The different levels mean that the streets are necessarily stepped. In the pretty town centre, the Santa María de la Mesa Church, the San Juan de Letrán Chapel, the Torre del Reloj (Clock Tower) and the Palominos Bridge are particularly interesting. During the festival of Corpus Christi, declared a Festivity of National Tourist Interest, not only can you marvel at the sight of the meticulous ornamentation, you can also taste the local cuisine, with dishes such as the “quemones de cebolla” (a tomato dip with onion and parsley), the “sopas hervías” (bread and tomato soup) and the sugary tipsy cakes. (
I made this video mainly just for fun, found the background music online that says copyright free but if anyone claims it you can contact me for anything reasonable and I will do as you ask:)

Tio Pepe Sherry Being Poured With Style
Went for the launch of the Macallan Rare Cask and they had Tio Pepe Sherry there to give us guests a taste of the sherry that first cures their oak barrels. Loved how much flair went into pouring out the sherry! Oh...the sherry tasted really lovely too.
