We stayed at the Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Resort in Oxnard, California during our vacation. I actually forgot this town/city is where the Dallas Cowboys have training camp. It makes sense because the temperatures are really cool in this area. Quite honestly, we were a little disappointed in this resort. While it was a very nice resort, the rooms smelled a little stale and the beach did not have the fine sand you would find on a beach type vacation. I guess you get what you pay for...wait, we kind of paid a lot! I do not ever think we will stay there again. You have to pay for parking even if you self park. At the end of the trip, I felt like maybe we should have taken a cruise instead. At least we got to see some family while we were there!
I did like that it was between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. I think we had a lot more fun in those two places than we did in Oxnard. Watching Wonder Woman in town was fun though!

Oxnard Beach and Park California
What nice about Oxnard Beach Park is…. it’s not crowded. We had a chance to play in a grassy park just a few steps from the ocean. The most impressive about the park is the amazing playground. There are so many slides, climbing areas, nooks and crannies that your kids will enjoy. Considering this is just minutes from both the Channel Islands Harbor and Ventura Harbor, . this is a recommended destination.
Definitely we will go back here.
