Greystone Neighborhood Park in Bakersfield, California
Working closely with the City’s Parks and Public Works staff, RRM Design Group provided landscape architectural services to develop the design from concept to construction on this eight-acre neighborhood park. The final park elements, which were a direct result of community input gathered at an RRM-facilitated community meeting, include a large shade structure, playground, splash pad, basketball courts, group and individual picnic areas, a paved perimeter loop path, flexible open grass areas, restroom and parking lot. RRM also provided full design services for a new fire station that is located within the park boundaries.

For most of us, flushing the toilet is just a natural part of our everyday lives.
But for the city of Bakersfield, it's what people are flushing that's been the cause of more than a few big headaches.

Moving to Bakersfield!
If moving to Bakersfield is something that you're thinking about, let me show you around town a bit. We have so many outdoor activities and hip downtown spots, as well as historical buildings. It's hard to believe they're only minutes from one another.
Mid-filming, we stopped for lunch at Hen's Roost for some Thai Fries that are legit awesome, even if you're NOT a Vegan.
We cruised out to Frugatti's, one of the best local Italian restaurants in town. Heading further west we went through some of the Centennial Corridor construction on our way River Walk Park and Valley Children's Medical Center. (Derek & David Carr were very helpful in bringing that to town!)
Then to wrap up this mini-tour of Bakersfield, we drove by some beautiful homes in Legacy Estates.
There's so much to see in Bakersfield, I might have to make a Moving to Bakersfield, Part 2, just so I can cover it all!
