Ep.32 - Cabbage Tree Beach and Green Point in the Beecroft Weapons Range
On the first day of summer, I headed over to the Beecroft Weapons Range on the north side of Jervis Bay. This active bombing range is open to the public at weekends and during school holidays and has some stunning locations. I explored the Green Point Track and then spent some happy time on lovely Cabbage Tree Beach.

Honeymoon Bay is set in a picturesque location within Jervis Bay. Approximately 10 kilometres from the edge of Currarong along the Point Perpendicular Lighthouse Road.

The Whitehaven of the South (Jervis Bay Trip)
The Jervis Bay is well-known for its signature white sands and clear blue waters. While most of the beaches in New South Wales are very similar to each other, this circle of beaches is outstanding and in my opinion, it may be considered the Whitehaven of the South. Being such a serene and unique area, the accommodation is prohibitive expensive especially in Husskinson Bay and Vincentia, so I highly recommend you to sleep in Nowra because is just 25 minutes drive to Jervis Bay. Other than that, Honeymoon Bay is another natural paradise, however, beware of the uneven roads and explosive area. (this region comprises the military base of NSW and it might be extremely dangerous to step in that parameter due to explosive materials), so stay away from it!

Jervis Bay este una dintre locatiile paradizaice ale statului New South Wales datorita peisajului unic cu ape turcoaz si nisip alb. In timp ce majoritatea plajelor din NSW au un aspet similar, acest complex de plaje este absolut unic, iar in opinia mea, poate fi considerat drept un al doilea Whitehaven al Sudului. Fiind o locatie deosebita, cazarea este extraordinar de scumpa in aceasta zona, in special in Husskinson Bay si Vincentia, asa ca va recomand sa va cazati in Nowra, care este la 25 de minute de condus fata de Jervis Bay. Pe langa asta, Honeymoon Bay este un alt paradis natural, insa trebuie sa fiti atenti la drumurile denivelate si la zona exploziva (pe aceasta fasie de pamanat, se desfasoara antrenamente militare si este deosebit de periculos sa va apropiati de ea). Aveti grija si bucurati-va cat mai mult de peisajul minunat!

I crawled through a cave-like tunnel and ended up on the edge of a cliff that dropped into a very tumultuous ocean. It was beautiful. The force of the waves against the cliff was deafeningly loud, I wish my cam had been able to record it.
