The 264-square-kilometre territory comprises the three islands of Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman, which are located to the south of Cuba and northeast of Honduras, between Jamaica and the Yucatán Peninsula. The total population of the three islands is approximately 60,765. The capital city is George Town, situated on Grand Cayman.     West Bay is a district located on the west side of Grand Cayman Island in the British West Indies. The population is 11,436. West Bay is a residential area located north of Grand Cayman's tourist-popular Seven Mile Beach. It is also a tourist area with destinations such as Hell, Cayman Turtle Farm, Cayman Motor Museum, and Dolphin Adventure. It is home to the Scholars International football club. West Bay features a public beach, complete with changing rooms and bathrooms available to the public. The beach is popular because of its proximity to the restaurants in Grand Cayman. This is the location that many watched the sinking of the USS Kittiwake in 2011.

    Little Cayman is one of three islands comprising the Cayman Islands. It is located in the Caribbean Sea, approximately 60 miles northeast of Grand Cayman and five miles west of Cayman Brac. Little Cayman is by far the least populous, with a permanent population of about 170. It is about 10 miles long with an average width of 1 mile and most of the island is undeveloped. Almost the entire island is at sea level. The highest elevation is about 40 feet . Little Cayman is known for its excellent scuba diving and birdwatching, unspoiled wildlife habitat and laid-back atmosphere. Despite its small size, the island hosts a heritage festival and parade as part of Pirates Week, the annual Mardi Gras celebration of the Cayman Islands and the Sister Islands Cook-off.
