1. Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens Tamborine Mountain
Tamborine Mountain is a 28 km2 plateau and locality in the Scenic Rim local government area of South East Queensland, Australia. In the 2011 census, Tamborine Mountain had a population of 7,030 people. The name is of Aboriginal origin and has nothing to do with the musical instrument. It is considered part of the Gold Coast hinterland and has a strong tourist industry.

2. Curtis Falls Tamborine Mountain
Curtis Island is an island that contains Curtis Island National Park. It is in Gladstone Region, Queensland, Australia, 474 kilometres northwest of Brisbane and 40 km southeast of Rockhampton. The island features coastal heaths, littoral rainforest, sand dunes and beach ridges and salt flats. The national park encompasses the Cape Capricorn headland. No facilities are provided for campers. Bush camping is permitted in three camp grounds. Southern parts of the island are being heavily developed for multiple coal seam gas export facilities including natural gas liquefaction plants.

Mount French is a mountain in South East Queensland, Australia. The mountain rises 579 m above sea level and is part of the Moogerah Peaks National Park. It lies approximately 100 km west of Brisbane in the locality of Mount French west of the town of Boonah in the Scenic Rim Region. Other prominent peaks in the Scenic Rim group of mountains include Mount Edwards, Mount Moon and Mount Greville. The traditional owners of the mountain, the Ugarapul people, named the two peaks Punchagin and Mee-bor-rum . In 1827, Patrick Logan named the peak Mount Dumaresq. The Wyaralong Dam is a mass concrete gravity dam with an un-gated spillway across the Teviot Brook that is located in the South East region of Queensland, Australia. The main purpose of the dam is for supply of potable water for the Scenic Rim region. The impounded reservoir is also called Wyaralong Dam. The dam was initiated by the Queensland Government in 2006 as a result of a prolonged drought which saw the catchment areas of South East Queensland's dams receive record low rain.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a heritage-listed zoological garden at 28 Tomewin Street, Currumbin, Queensland, Australia. It was built in 1947 onwards. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 18 September 2009. The sanctuary is world-renowned for its feeding of huge flocks of free-flying wild rainbow lorikeets, which come to the sanctuary to feast off the special mixture which the lorikeets eat. The multitude of events, shows and attractions include dingo encounters, free flight bird shows and feeding of the park's massive saltwater crocodile. Natural Bridge is a locality in the far south west of the City of Gold Coast local government area of South East Queensland, Australia. Its name is taken from a rock arch in Springbrook National Park. A waterfall along Cave Creek, a tributary of the Nerang River flows through the arch. Natural Bridge is located at the southern extent of the Nerang River valley on the southern border with New South Wales, between the Springbrook plateau and Binna Burra in the Scenic Rim Region. The western half of Natural Bridge is protected within Lamington National Park. The rugged landscape here is dotted with waterfalls, lookouts and peaks rising above 1,100 metres. Darlington is a locality in the Scenic Rim Region of South East Queensland, Australia.The locality occupies a section of the upper Albert River valley where the river branches in two. The lower elevations in the north of Darlingston are around 160 m above sea level with the highest ridges and peaks reaching 600 m. I don’t pretend to be an avid hiker, bushwalker or camping aficionado. I’m none of those things. I love a white sandy beach with beautiful, cool water and a shady spot to sit and relax. This lack of nature-loving/survival skills is why I was a little nervous taking on the Scenic Rim Trail by Spicers. What I loved about the Scenic Rim Trail was it pushed me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to try something new and adventurous that I probably wouldn’t have tried otherwise. The guides were so knowledgeable, attentive and there was never a moment where you felt you couldn’t ask for something. I loved the mix of getting back to nature while still enjoying relaxation and luxury. Staying in such a beautiful location made it easy to wake up every day and sharing the experience with other walkers made it even more special.
