The Moogerah Dam is a mass concrete double curvature arch dam with a un-gated spillway across the Reynolds Creek that is located in the South East region of Queensland, Australia. The main purposes of the dam are for irrigation of the Reynolds Creek and for supply of potable water to Warrill Creek and farmers in the Warrill Valley. The impounded reservoir is called Lake Moogerah. Moogerah is derived from the Aboriginal word Moojirah, meaning home of the thunderstorm.

Natural Bridge is a locality in the far south west of the City of Gold Coast local government area of South East Queensland, Australia. Its name is taken from a rock arch in Springbrook National Park. A waterfall along Cave Creek, a tributary of the Nerang River flows through the arch. Natural Bridge is located at the southern extent of the Nerang River valley on the southern border with New South Wales, between the Springbrook plateau and Binna Burra in the Scenic Rim Region. Brisbane to Moogerah in less than 10 Minutes (105 km / 65 miles)

From Brisbane to Lake Moogerah in less than 10 minutes. The video is speeded up dash cam recording of the 1 hour 20 minute journey. It is the shortest route, not necessarily the fastest.

Recorded Good Friday April 14th 2017, for a visit to a performance of The Moogerah Passion Play.

Moogerah Lake is home to The Moogerah Passion Play, performed annually in Holy Week. 2017 is the 25th anniversary of its inception.

The play is performed in an out-door auditorium comprising an 80 metre stage, a natural stream and small dam (lake) representing the river Jordan and Lake Galilee. The passion play is fast becoming an Australian institution.
