    The Adelaide Festival Centre, Australia's first multi-purpose arts centre, was built in 1973 and opened three months before the Sydney Opera House. The Festival Centre is located approximately 50 metres north of the corner of North Terrace and King William Street, lying near the banks of the River Torrens and adjacent to Elder Park. It is distinguished by its three white geometric dome roofs and its plaza consisting of lego block-like structures to the south and lies on a 45-degree angle to the city's grid. It is the home of South Australia's performing arts. The Adelaide Festival Centre replaced the City Baths, which stood in this spot for many decades.     The Capri Theatre is a cinema in Goodwood, a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, built in the Art Deco style. It is owned by the Theatre Organ Society of Australia Inc, which bills the cinema as a Unique Entertainment Showplace in the World. A feature of the cinema is the Wurlitzer theatre organ, which is used regularly for recitals, as well as an entertainment feature supporting the screening of films. Several times a year, the cinema presents Nostalgia Movie Nights, when popular classic films are shown, in a programme with supporting short films, a newsreel and nostalgic advertising.

    Her Majesty's Theatre is a theatre in Adelaide, South Australia. It was built in 1913 as the Tivoli Theatre, part of national Tivoli vaudeville circuit. It was renamed to the Prince of Wales Theatre in 1920, and back to the Tivoli Theatre in 1930. In 1962 it was named Her Majesty's Theatre, except for between 1979 and 1988 when it called the Opera Theatre.After a major redevelopment, it is expected to re-open in 2020 seating approximately 1,500.
