Passport And Visas Requirements To Enter The UK
Please note: Following the recent referendum vote for the UK to leave the European Union (EU), there are currently no changes in the way people travel to Britain. The following guidelines still apply:
If you're planning an adventure to the UK, depending on your nationality and your reason for visiting, you may need to organise a visa.
If you're an American, Canadian or Australian tourist, you'll be able to travel visa-free throughout the UK, providing you have a valid passport and your reason for visiting meets the immigration rules (link is external).
Citizens from some South American and Caribbean countries as well as Japan are also able to travel visa-free around the UK.
European Union citizens, non-EU member states of the EEA (Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland), Switzerland, and members of the Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) do not need a visa to enter the UK.
If you have any further visa questions visit the official UK government website.

England // Rainy London Layover Tube Tour
A 7 hour layover is about on the limit of having enough time to go out and explore the city if everthing goes smoothly. If customs takes forever, you have to wait in a long line for a train ticket, and you are bombarded by rain, it's questionable what you can really do. Take a layover tour of London with me seeing everything from one tube station to another.
